I haven't heard a singer who can perform from mid range Bass till upper Sop so effortlessly, with voice so clean throughout all octaves. And the way he engages emotionally and thanks everybody after the performance. Beautiful.

He’s using falsetto, i.e., Italian for “false,” so it’s different from someone whose actual vocal range covers multiple octaves. To hear the difference, listen to a counter-tenor:

That is partly correct. He uses falsetto but the second half of that particular song is all mix and chest voice. He just uses the falsetto to perfection as well. This guy has a legit 6 octave and 5 semi tones from A1 to D8. The guy actually hits D8 ! Of course there will be falsetto when you go that high, and whistle tone but how he uses it is the best I have ever heard in my life and I have heard a lot man. His transition from falsetto to mix to chest to whistle is beyond this world.
I have never heard anyone better in my life.

I haven't heard D8 in the piece you shared Murat. Can you share another piece where he does indeed hit it (going from chest to mix to falsetto) ? If so, that's indeed out of this world.

I really enjoyed this little combination of EJ music. Thanks!
I'm glad you enjoyed. They're my favourite Elton John songs. You're welcome. I like Elton John. Until I watched Rocketman I didn't realise he could play piano by ear before even taking lessons & that he earnt his place in the Royal College of Music. I thought his parents paid for him to go. He's an amazing pianist.

Taron Egerton, the guy who sung a duet with Elton John & whose version of Rocket Man I shared plays Elton John in Rocket Man. I think he does a pretty good job & sounds like a young version of Elton. What do you think of him?

You don't need to do that for me. I just found it:

At 0:03 Dimash sings G-major chord starting at G5 (hitting D6). And then he goes up 2 octaves hitting C8-D8. OMG! You have to hear it on headphones to believe it. And this sequence is not a random squeak but an actual sequence of harmonising sounds!

I feel the same as you do about Taron: his Rocket Man performance was very good. I usually don't like the adaptations of all time classics by different artists or by "impersonators", but in this case, after re-listening to his Rocket Man, I'm impressed how well he has expressed EJ's emotional tone of voice & at the same time added his own touch by different background arrangement. Wo wonder EJ likes him. It's like a young 20 yo boy came to me and said "I'm not you but I will cry like you & laugh like you to show you how I love you".
BTW, I thought no one could match David Bowie's Space Odity:

This theme in music belongs to DB, and no one dares to match it not just musically but the theme itself is just sacred! Yet EJ/TE managed not only to add to it but also to squeeze an extra tear out of my eye..

I watched the interview on the special features of Rocket Man where Elton John said he didn't want the actor playing him to just mimic him. He wanted to see different interpretations of his songs. He let him get on with it & he did an amazing job. As the executive producer he would have stepped in if it wasn't right & offered advice & worked with him. (I liked Bohemian Rhapsody too but think that although the cast did an amazing job you can tell the difference if you've got a sensitive ear but I'm like you in that "I don't usually like adaptations of all time classics by different artistes or 'impersonators'" either.

I don't like David Bowie but agree that as David Bowie did that theme of music 1st it belongs to him. Aww! I'm glad you liked it.

My favourite Space-themed songs are the ones mentioning the moon I shared a bit since &

(I know this is about the Goddess Venus but as Venus is also a planet I fit it in.)

Not on that piece but he has a song that he wrote himself and bunch of other times. The more I listen to the dude, the more I fall in love. Check out the link below. Listen to the whole piece of course but check out the 4:40 mark. Of course a D8 has to be a whistle note. I cannot see any other way for that. Just impressive stuff.

I remember seeing “Tommy” when it first came out in 1975. I was far too young to be there, but had to see it. Also, the soundtrack was the first album I ever bought.

I like Bonnie's piece.Thank you for it. I wonder what you will say about my assertion that she sounds like an extreme female version of Rod Stewart. Compare said piece with this all time Rod's classic, released just 4 years prior (1975).

To my ear, they have their husky voices so similar, and the melodies are so similar, in the same key. The only thing that "feels" different to me (music wise) is Rod's Bass guitar chords follow very simple pattern I-V-IV-I, while Bonnie's bass guitar is more varied, hence setting more intriguing/interesting mood (e.g. during chorus from 0:55), hence I like Bonnie's piece better.
