there is a rumor going around on other tennis forums that he was racially abused during that forth set...they were calling him monkey and he gave up.

Gael doesn't look like the kind of guy that would take something like that lying down. If it's true (IF!), why would he not have brought it to the umpires attention? I'm not a fan of these types of speculations

clearly indicates that (s)he thinks this will be a poetic justice to what Fed did. If she
pauses to think she will realize that Fed has no part in this even assuming some fan
actually shouted a racist remark.

Sure, but she also said that she hopes Federer doesn't win the tournament because of the way this rumored comment affected Monfils. Monfils has thrown away quite a few matches in the past, I wonder if Federer fans used some sort of epithet to break his concentration during those matches as well.

Also, I heard a rumor that one of Gael's fans called Roger a 'Swiss Neutral Mountainboy' to break Roger's concentration in the second set. Because of this, I pray Gael never wins another match.

The words we need to focus on here are "rumor" and "other tennis forums". In other words, this is completely unsubstantiated.

If it had happened, it would currently be more than just a rumor on other tennis forums. It would have been heard by someone in the legitimate press, picked up by TV cameras/mics, heard by TV commentators near the court, the umpire, both players -- and then all of us would have known about it prior to tossip writing that it's a rumor on other tennis forums.

Tossip is free to root for whomever she wants without any justification. However, saying
she wishes someone other than Fed win the tourney in view of this is ridiculous even assuming
the rumors are true.

Is Steffi Graf responsible for the stabbing of Monica? Look we had seen these before.

My logic is its just a human trait for one to root against someone who may have beneficited

because a player's performance may have been undermined by some assine fan. thats all... it not an indictment against Roger as a person or a player but just one fan's preference for another player. Whats wrong with that.. that is probably Tossip's sentiment.

I think we have to go back especially to what Tented said: the notion of "rumor" and it coming from random websites (un-cited.) There is no evidence this even happened, and if tossip wasn't in the crowd that day, I'm not trusting that it did happen. So forget arguing about that means about Federer, or anyone. A google search brings up only that Isner was disappointed that the USO crowd was pulling for Monfils over him, a couple of years ago, rather proving that the crowd would choose Monfils even over the US guy. There is no basis for tossip's claim.

Even within a culture over time words change their meaning. For instance the word "gay".

In my father's dictionary, there isn't any reference to sexual orientation. To him, it means merry, lighthearted, cheerful. When parents named their daughters "Gay" it was similar to naming them "Joy".

He is saying that he has called Fed a donkey or a monkey on several occasions, so if Monfils was called a Monkey , in Front's mind ifs Okay. There where the problem lies. You say that there is cultural differences between where Front resides in Europe I assume and the US, Well, Nemeth, how many soccer players of African decent has been called that or thrown a banana during the matches. You mean to tell me Front doesnt know this. Give me a freaking break.
