Mother of six smashes women’s beer mile record on first attempt. What's the world coming to lol.
Established in 1989, the beer mile challenge is simple: you run four laps and down a beer each lap.
Chris Kimbrough, 44, smashed the previous women’s record of six minutes 28 seconds by 13 seconds on her very first attempt.
The mother-of-six beat the record in her home town of Austin, Texas previously held since 1997 by Senna Robinson.
She told Runner’s World: ‘I didn’t want it to be a public thing [laughs], and then it ended up being a public thing.
‘I really didn’t think I could do it, that’s a lot of beer in six minutes!’
