The Tennis Gods are rolling out the carpet for Roger and #99...if he blows this, I don't know what to say.

First break by Marius early in the opening set.

Going to start watching this mess soon. Hopefully Roger doesn't disgust me with his diarrhea play.

Poorly executed drop shot by Copil sealed the first set in Roger's favour.

Yep...I'm disgusted. Roger's forehand and serve are WTA level. That's where it starts and ends. Shocked he is even beating some journeymen at this point.

Not pretty. Good serving by Copil though to hold then at the end. Not a lot Fed could do about that.

Nish lost to Anderson in Vienna. Minor surprise.

I've never seen his forehand look this pedestrian. Describing it as pedestrian might be generous as it seems to be an outright weakness at the moment.

You must not have been looking real hard! He's been spraying the ball of late badly; a lot of the time under no pressure! He does better when pressed, but at times he just loses it! It's a wonder he's able to hold onto his ranking, but so many players fold for no reason to him!

I'm not just basing it on this match, I'm talking about the last couple weeks. He's actually moving alright and hitting the backhand well but the forehand and serve are way off the normal standard.

And it's not surprising he has been able to hold his ranking, he has 3100 points from his first 3 events of the year before the wheels fell off. And when there are at most 4-5 good players on tour right now...

Nice game there to break back, Copil won the point of the match at 15-15, amazing defense.
