Fed can take out faker at WTF
Congratulations to Federer on beating the amazingly difficult opponent in a final, the one and only Marius Copil. B-)
That seems both snobby and arrogant. How does it tarnish his legacy, exactly?Dear Fed fans, please don't tarnish the maestro's legacy by celebrating mickey mouse 500s and 250s. The dude looked everyone of his 37 years today. Poor Copil couldn't exploit it.
Playing like this Id expect 0-3 or 1-2 at WTF. He may not even make the semis which is a given for any decent indoor player at WTF.

I don't know why you engage with that kind of trolling, but then you go there about Anderson. He beat Fed at Wimbledon, ffs. And he just won Vienna. We Fed fans will remember this gem comment when Copil plays Nadal but it has to be after the same circumstances to be comparable, ie, making it through 2 qualifying rounds and all the way to the final of a 500 event. Oh and the mighty Kevin Anderson says hi btw. Says he's sorry for bending over in the USO final.

I don't know what's up with a Fed fan denigrating it and certain Nadal fans downplaying the opponent in the final, but I agree with your last. 9 Titles in his hometown. 99th title. It's admirable and beautiful. This one Nadal fan, at least, gives a tip of the cap. What? He'll retire before you know it so enjoy whatever success he gets. He isn't gonna play forever. Some Fed fans really need to snap out of their slam expectations. Dude's 37 ffs!
Anyway this was a glorious victory, one of his most hard fought, rewarding non-slam wins of his career, playing one of the worst tennis of his life to win a tournament. He used all his guile, experience, mental strength to win Basel. Like an old jedi.

:lulz2: I suppose that's the most I could ever expect from you. Thanks. You've always been a reasonable and more importantly friendly Nadulltard.

Didnt cuntdal beat Ramos in the Monte Carlo final last year?
So much for the Kumbaya.Didnt cuntdal beat Ramos in the Monte Carlo final last year?
Indeed he is, but Nadal beat Nishikori in that final.Ramos on paper is a much more difficult opponent. He was in 2 master finals, Shanghai first, before MC.
Copil came out of nowhere .

By your own definition, not equivalent.Mugray is more difficult opponent on paper but i'm sure fakervic would prefer playing him over Stanimal anywhere outside grass.
Copil is more dangeous on an indoor HC than Ramos is on clay even though their ranking is not close.
