He just won his first title. He is bound to rest on laurels and lose to someone here. But, in general I agree with you that he is a great prospect.

It seems like only the elites can back up their wins! Most players do well in one tourney; even making the SF & they crash and burn the following wks! There are exceptions of course, but that's been my experience with today's stars; 1/2-arse conditioning or something!

Big opportunity for both of them. Taylor is already in unchartered territory, he will break into the top 50.

He's been quite impressive and hasn't disappointed his fans, family, or coach; actually overachieving in a lot of ways! I like him, but he needs a real weapon; sorta like Johnson who has a good basic game, but isn't going to upset many top players if any! :yesyes:

So, the pest wins over the Millionaire "john".

Pest is too seasoned to give respect to past Aura. So, if Fed does not play well, Pest will surely eke out a win.

Fed's serve has become as easy to eat up as Swiss chocolate. There is problem #1 to try to fix this offseason. He ain't meant to be easy to break!

Playing Simon for Roger, at his current inconsistent form, can be a horrible thing because Simon is so steady, but it can also be a good thing to get back to some sort of consistency because Simon is so steady.

Fed's just lucky Simon is like the rest of this gutless era who can't seem "to finish!" He was 2 pts from the 1st set several times and couldn't complete the deal! His volleying sucks and he should be embarrassed for those efforts in the forecourt! :nono:  :banghead: :cuckoo:

Update: Not sure I've seen Roger so frustrated when winning; actually gesticulating, screaming @ his efforts, taking swipes at the court, and slamming the ball! o_O

No one hates playing sub par as much as Fed does. The others accept it more, Roger gets pissed. That stuff is encouraging, he can't accept playing like a scrub otherwise it will become a consistent reality.

That pushing peon has gotten to this drunk version of Fed. Going to be 2 and a half hour marathon. Even if he wins this he will lose to Perseus or Master of Coin tomorrow.

We need a "dislike" or "F that" button for posts like these
I'd better go steady or you'll be asking for an abbreviate button for my posts as I don't use 1 word where 1/2 a dozen will do then, if you're cheeky enough to ask for a dislike button. Lol.
