I am hearing rumors (there was some article, don't have time to give you a link) that there is a good chance that USO will be played at IW site.

Seriously or maybe I´m losing something? my question is what "egghead" really means

Click here for a definition of “egghead”.

But as @Moxie pointed out earlier, the use of the word was simply a joke, referencing Novak’s use of an egg-shaped pod.

Back even before my day eggheads as an expression peaked during the 50’s and the top eggie of them all, Adlai Stevenson.

As a kid, I even knew this quip per Adlai:
“Eggheads of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your yolks”:face-with-tears-of-joy:

How are you all coping with Nadal not playing? I guess we can all watch his old YouTube matches and sometimes we are lucky that he posts a few pictures on social media, but it’s still not the same. Nadal we miss you so much and on behalf of all the members of TennisFrontier we hope to see you very soon. :rose:

The French open folks have announced that if the fans are not allowed in, they will not conduct French open. They are not interested in playing it without audience.

CA Governor Newsome has announced recently that he will not allow major sporting events in CA until a new vaccine is found for COVID-19. With IW being located in CA, this announcement spells the death of the possibility of USO being moved to IW.

I just read the full announcement regarding Roland Garos this year,it might not even be played due to the current concerns of the virus in Paris,US Open has taken the same stance that their tournament will not be played without fans as well.

I thought FO was motivated to hold the tournament because the cost of the roof has to be paid for. If FO and USO won’t proceed without spectators, it’s very possible the first major will be AO 2021.
