I have never liked the technique on Genie's fhand it needs to be addressed ASAP,her footwork on her fhand wing is slow at times,I dont like the way she lunges at the ball? her 2nd serve is attackable

What a great victory for Simona Halep defeating Serena Williams 60, 62 - A humiliating loss for Serena and a reminder for some of the fanatic Serena fans never to sell the bear's skin before one has killed the beast

Masha's loss yesterday pales in comparison to Serena's - I can't wait to read all the excuses from the Serena fanatics here - viral illness? - knee injury? - what this time?
Serena utterly owns pova..:popcorn..Serena can still win the event and Halep losing because this is just a round robin match....:lolz:

Much to do bout nothing.. Great win for Halep.. I didnt see the match but I know this is only round robin and I am quite sure that Serena will have payback on her mind.. Pova has no chance against Rena.. it aint happening

Yeah - Good point - Note who always has to drag racists into the discussion when Serena is concerned :) - Not me!!

Poor Marsha, she must be in tears asking her coach: why can others beat her and I can't!!!! And her coach responded: Because you are a robot! Now shut up.

When are coming back to Tennis.com. People asked about you all the time. What they say if often cruel but without you everyone else seems so extremely normal. Now don't be cowardly. Come back to us.

Just a general question for all posters,

What do you think of the crowds and atmosphere at Singapore compared to Istanbul for the YEC?

Or do you think it is too early to make a comparison?

Instabul was like a festival and organic, this crowd seems like a bit controlled ...they are being told to applaud and doesnt seem to know when to cheer .They were applauding Caro s errors yesterday until Asderaki said something.

At least with the speed of the Ana/Eugenie match I can return to bed for another hour. A really pathetic performance by our Canadian, sad to say, she will have lots of time to reflex on this before the start of the new season in 2015.

Lol that's funny you say that. Do you know much about the political climate of Singapore? It's a SUPER strict society. It's very successful economically but there is a lot of big brother type control over the people. There's a lot of social restrictions and you're not really allowed to speak against the government. That's probably why the crowd seems controlled.
