Chanting like the Chinese crowd in Beijing

Let's Go Simone Let's Go!!!

Simona laid the smackdown on Serena. :clap Typical, you weren't around yesterday when your player was littering the stat sheets w/ 70+ UE's. :cover

Congrats Simona! A couple of days ago she said she had nothing to lose and she played that way. People say she can't play against the big hitters but she beat the best tonight. Oh Serena! you didn't have your best day - DFs and UFE, but everyone has them. But you recover from a loss better than any - so you get Eugenie next and I wouldn't want to be Eugenie!

What a great victory for Simona Halep defeating Serena Williams 60, 62 - A humiliating loss for Serena and a reminder for some of the fanatic Serena fans never to sell the bear's skin before one has killed the beast

Well this match may give her the confidence to beat her other thorn in her side your girl, so be careful what you wish for ;).

Serena is now affected by breaks in matches...happened at Wimbledon and Roland Garros. The crowd in Singapore seems to be anti Serena, unlike the Instabul crowd that adored and appreciated her.
singaporeans are known to be anti people of color and love their blondes.Serena has never seemed to enjoy herself in asia...she never goes to japan and goes to china because its mandatory...
Halep played the match of her life and hopefully she wins the whole event...but we all know these players are fired up against Serena ...her camp looked like they were seing $$$$ in endorsements. This match was all about Serena not moving her feet and making errors...

Not that it is any of your business but I was away the whole day yesterday and missed the Masha match - I have however congratulated and complemented Caroline today :)

She doesn't need you to make excuses for her. She lost. It happens and it doesn't matter the location. She can't worry about crowd support. The crowd weren't the ones making a ton of errors out there. Besides, Serena is blonde now in case you hadn't noticed.

You're right. It's not any of my business, but convenient for you that you're hardly around for a Maria loss.

*shrug* - I don't expect Masha to win whenever she plays Serena - I think few Masha fans do anymore these days - Your comment does therefor nothing to me - ;)

I actually think that you are one of the few who makes sense when you comment tennis and/or tennis players - You seem to have good tennis skills - As for all your other opinions - they're usually just blablabla to me - No offense OK? :)

Masha's loss yesterday pales in comparison to Serena's - I can't wait to read all the excuses from the Serena fanatics here - viral illness? - knee injury? - what this time?

Simona played an amazing match. She is a true tennis player. NOw she is 1-3 against Serena. Serena has beaten her before by a similar scoreline. Now the ole Robot (giggle, hehe, laffs) knows what true humiliation is having taken the beating of her life in the gold metal olympic match. And ten years of beating. But I have to hand it to Marsha...If I anyone had beaten me so much I think I would just end it all. Or maybe go sell candy in Siberia...lol. So Marsha was rubbing that shoulder a lot yesterday. I am sure her agent has whispered it to the press. The commentators will talk of it soon. At least Serena lost to a quality player...not Robot.

*waves at the alert boss*
Yeah - Good point - Note who always has to drag racists into the discussion when Serena is concerned :) - Not me!!
