Unbelievable. Roger was leading 5:2 and was supposed to serve for the set. His level dropped noticeably...

Less drama this time and Roger closes it out. He totally lost the script for 20 minutes but the first set and a bit was solid from him.

Geez, the last time I looked he was up 5-2, 40-15. Then I had to meet someone, and assumed when I got back, the final score would be 6-3, 6-2. But 7-5?

Yep...he lost focus for a bit.

In the meantime, The Fabulous One is on a groove of his own, up 5-2 in the second. Got good fan support. It would be interesting tomorrow against Roger.

I'm not getting to see any of the matches this week, but those kind of lapses and struggles are better for Roger at this stage than to stroll serenely onwards. He needs to solve problems and struggle a bit, to fully find his game on clay. Berdy or FFS would be another good staging post for him.

I just see that Andy pulled out, too...

Sounds like a great match, Murat. What score is the tiebreak?

It was a very tied match and I surprised that Fog lost under the crowd passion and playing so well but at the end Berdych was like a wall and wearing a "headphone" everything worked better for him

Oh, nuts. I left at 2-2 in the third, and I really thought F3S would pull it off. I'll have to watch the replay later.
