Simon is a serious test for Roger though...He has troubled Roger more than once, and his style of retrieving will show a lot about where Roger's consistency level is . Roger never liked playing Simon. I have seen him get frustrated and impatient.

Don't remind me. There is nothing more annoying than watching Roger struggle with the ultimate pusher. With Roger's level of consistency behind the baseline he could easily lose this.

Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot more booing from tennis crowds? Every MTO seems to be met with a chorus of boos. Players questioning line calls. Players even approaching an umpire can start the crowd off. Poor Simon was booed for trying to get a bit of clay out of his eyes during the Madrid Masters.

I can't say that I've ever booed a player and I've seen my least favourite players live. ;)

^ well, both Madrid and Rome aren't the most friendly crowds, so that could be part of it. also, the Azarenka incident has re-sparked the MTO discussion, so i reckon this might be an issue this year in general.

I'd boo Federer, but I'd do it like a ventriloquist would do it: I'd throw my voice over towards the players box so he thinks it's Mirka and the kids. Really screw him up, you know?

I just don't understand people who come to tennis match to boo players. I think in 99% of cases crowd does that booing is not justified.

I thought the ultimate pusher must be No1e who pushed Rafa 10 metres behind the baseline in Monte-Carlo final, so some of the balls he had to hit from the second raw in the crowd. ;)

LOL that's amazing. The Djokovic impression was the least spot on (though it was close enough). The Nadal impression was really good, but let's face it, he's the easiest one to imitate. The Federer and Murray impressions on the other hand, were insane.

I agree, he should work some more on #1. I liked Murray the best (the dude is more Murray than Murray himself), but the others are awesome too.

Must agree. That's off the chains. Murray one was spot on. Thanks for posting Mastoor.

Those impressions were amazing, especially the Federer and Murray ones.

It is the QF which was supposed to happen and the H2H is heavily in Novak's favor 13-1. What is more interesting is they met on clay only once in MC, when Novak won in 3 sets.

Del Potro loses in straights to Benoit Paire. This opens up a once in a lifetime chance for the likes of Paire, Chardy and Granollers to make it to the semis of Rome. What a crazy week in Rome. We are basically left with Nole, Roger, Rafa and Berdych before the Quarterfinals even started. :D

Nole shouldn't have any trouble w/ Berd. He looks in fine form right now. In other news, Rafa is down 4-0 to Ernie. Gulbis hitting on all cylinders early, can he keep it up?

wow Gulbis is on drugs. Awesome power from both wings and more importantly, he can't miss. Let's see how long he can sustain that kind of firepower, this kind of insanity can't possibly go on for much longer.

Everything he's smacking is staying smacked...

EDIT: Including Nadal...
