dang Roger's hair is too short!

I was reading down the thread after work, and when I saw that Roger's hair was an issue, I wondered if we'd here from you, Cosmo. And we did! :) But as Ftan says...it's'll be perfect by RG.

;)

alright, hopefully this'll be the only time i comment on Roger's haircut(s) - but seeing it, i did appreciate the fact that he'd changed something. seemed like an attempt to signal that he felt a change was necessary, with the usual implications of short-hair - working guy, rather than the well-coiffed mane of a dandy. i'll just hope that he changed not just that, but something in his game as well. then again, it could also be a sign that he's (even) more concerned with fashion than tennis these days.

as for the tennis - the result is nice, but as been said, meaningless of course. didn't see too much of the match, but once again, looking at the stats - srv numbers were better for once (4 aces, on the slower court and in rather few service games, at a very high 1st srv %age), but he still had to fend off two break points. so - we'll see. he'll sure have his fingers crossed for Youzhny, as Simon is not the guy he'd want to face at this point.

OMG what happened to Fed's hair.. daughters pulling too much?? lolz
:) Yeah, don't like the new haircut much, BUT his tennis was impressive today, I must say. His opponent wasn't exactly the best player in the world, but never mind - the great man looked like Roger Federer again.

Yes he did play well..but real test is when he plays quality opponents

Starace is not a quality opponent? then Williams and Sharapova's should be what, ball girls? :D he is extremely good when he doesn't need to face the best players.

Jerzy takes out Jo in straights and emulates Nole's shirt ripping exercise.

Jerzy Janowicz happened to Tsonga, simple as that. Jerzy is still a novelty for most of the guys, as he burst into the top 100 last year and Tsonga never played him before. He is a dangerous opponent, because if his serve is on you can't do much and he seems to want it badly as opposed to other youngsters. Good job JJ.

Bad performance from Kinder
Hope he can do well in RG but he's so unpredictable that I can't help worrying about him

He has been always like that Isabelle, he doesn't have a plan B game and sometimes you need to aply some different strategies.

He's got to be exhausted. Probably the right move at this stage.

I guess Rasheed didn't do enough scouting to prepare Jo for what was coming.

The shirt ripping was hilarious. He ripped it half way through right away he hit the winner, then he went to shake hands with JWT, to finish it off when he greeted the audience.:)

Murray is broken in the second. Really wondering why his name ever comes up in best clay courter discussions.
