No one noted, I don't think, but Krajinovic going out early was a bit of a surprise. Also De Miñaur.

I am not surprised about De Minaur, as said before Cechinato has woken up, but Krajinovic going out is a huge surprise. Maybe he helped a fellow serbian a little bit you never know.

Also Monfils went out to Bublik which is also not a big surprise considering the form.

this would be even worst than us open if djokovic does not win RG because he has the easiest draw in French open history. meanwile Nadal always gets hard draws hes had to beat both djokovic and federer 3 times to win French open 2006,2007 2008.

I don't see how it could possibly help a fellow Serb by going out.

Novak looks motivated. 6:0 first set.

The other side of the spectrum has Hamburg winner Rublev down 0-2 to Querrey who took 2 TB's! I expected Opelka to be doing this, but he's gone! Djokovic is really practicing that drop-shot against Ymer! I think he's telling Rafa, "if we meet, I'm going to test your stamina and court movement!" Without Rafa's usually pre-major prep, it'll be interesting if he even makes the final! I'm not even sure of Nole as there are issues with the balls, his elbow being tested with heaviness of the conditions, and the soap opera that continues behind the scenes over admin. ATP resignation and subsequent creation of another players' entity! :face-with-head-bandage:

Rublev is impersonating an escape artist , down a service break in the 3rd set he's come back and is now leading 4-3 with a service break in the 5th.

However now Tsitsipas is down 2 sets to love against Munar :astonished-face:

Has to be the Hamburg water.....

That was is going to sting for Uncle Sam, but well done by Rublev. I don't know what to say about Tsitsipas.

Seeds should not be decided strictly by ranking. Medvedev is terrible on clay yet got his own quarter based on being ranked 4. The draw isn’t balanced when players who aren’t good on clay get seeded higher than they deserve. Expect to see more “upsets” here than on other surfaces.

Rublev survives 6-3 in the 5th, I'm hoping that Andre can improve from here. Way tooclose.

Now if only the other Hamburg finalist, Stefano can follow his example...

Just got home to see they're going 5, as Tsitsipas takes the 4th.

I know many things to say about Sissyfuzz , but I naturally don’t want to be rude ;)

Gile Simon and Dennis Shopavolvov in a 4th set...

Simon, I always feel like a strong gust of wind could blow him off the court.... :D
