we got to see this tennis dream twice 2012, 2014 finals maybe 2020 could be a even more epic final lets hope thiem does not wreck it for everyone.

Nadal would easily beat Djokovic in the final. I am more worried about Thiem in the semifinal. Also Zverev in the quarterfinal could be tricky. But who knows everything is still far away and most of these matches might not happen, but Nadal is starting to build his confidence and he’s by far the favourite.

He has no real weapon but his heart, but it appears to be enough to make the 3rd Rd. on RG clay! Isner out as well to offspring of Korda! More seeds fall; esp. on the ladies' side! WOW! You right , don’t forget 2013, officially SF, but it was the final.
I have to admit the Wiener Schnitzel is very good and could be a problem if reaching the SF. But Nadal has the much easier draw and should be fresher for the SF.
If he loses , I would be disappointed, and as a Nadal fan very concerned for the future. He needs this slam badly, he isn’t favorite at the others. Novak is everywhere favorite to win, except in Paris.
If Austria can beat Nadal in SF despite tougher draw, that would be highly negative for Nadal and his chase for slam record.

Well Hubert had his chance to go up a double break, now he has to break to hold on for set 2 to continue! I expected better decision making when in a commanding position even if just a doubles specialist! Sascha's coming back!

Herbert really has no weapon and shouldn’t win a single set against a player like Aleksandar in a singles match.

He was once good warrior, very talented, now only shadow of his best level. Too fragile.
i remember a match against Nadal on clay, where he controlled the Spaniard and makes him look helpless, then got injured and lost the match. Indicative for the Japanese.
