Fraction Czech is playing well, will be interesting match if he meets the Wiener Schnitzel.
Wawrinka enjoys playing slams, completely different player compared to other tournaments. Agree, it could be a good match if they meet.

good win by the Russian lion Rublev the Russians are taking over tennis meanwhile the U.S men players have been getting owned by European players for 17 years now, at least the U.S women still on top of tennis, Australia only have A.barty and I don't even like her LOL. of course tsitsipas is the most compete player a long with thiem whos going to easy beat djokovic if Nadal not in the final.

I thought he was kind of done, since he knee surgeries, but he looks good today.

My favorite player, AND my favorite opponent for Novak, both playing well. They will most likely meet in F, how can one not enjoy this?
Djokovic-Nadal in FO Final, Jesus that is what tennis dreams are made of!

Nadal would easily beat Djokovic in the final. I am more worried about Thiem in the semifinal. Also Zverev in the quarterfinal could be tricky. But who knows everything is still far away and most of these matches might not happen, but Nadal is starting to build his confidence and he’s by far the favourite.

Thiem gets past Sock in straight sets, TB in the 3rd! Taylor Fritz advances! I didn't see it, but he must be doing it with smoke and mirrors; esp. winning in "straights!" He has no real weapon but his heart, but it appears to be enough to make the 3rd Rd. on RG clay! Isner out as well to offspring of Korda! More seeds fall; esp. on the ladies' side! WOW! Serena pulls out due to Achilles problem!

You right , don’t forget 2013, officially SF, but it was the final.
I have to admit the Wiener Schnitzel is very good and could be a problem if reaching the SF. But Nadal has the much easier draw and should be fresher for the SF.
If he loses , I would be disappointed, and as a Nadal fan very concerned for the future. He needs this slam badly, he isn’t favorite at the others. Novak is everywhere favorite to win, except in Paris.
If Austria can beat Nadal in SF despite tougher draw, that would be highly negative for Nadal and his chase for slam record.

Only a massively stupid troll can spit out, that Nadal would beat Novak easily in the F.
But is intelligent enough to use would, instead of will :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Yes, and I really don’t know why. He is the superior player in every way imaginable, and cannot execute. Jesus what waste of talent so far.He should manage this kind f opponent in straights.
Also he should have won the us open F.

Well Hubert had his chance to go up a double break, now he has to break to hold on for set 2 to continue! I expected better decision making when in a commanding position even if just a doubles specialist! Sascha's coming back!

Herbert really has no weapon and shouldn’t win a single set against a player like Aleksandar in a singles match.
But tennis is more than just technical skills.

Kei.Nishikori would have just owned by his master Nadal in 3rd round anyway, just like last year.

He was once good warrior, very talented, now only shadow of his best level. Too fragile.
i remember a match against Nadal on clay, where he controlled the Spaniard and makes him look helpless, then got injured and lost the match. Indicative for the Japanese.
