None of these guys stand a chance against Nadal. Match is very interesting the way it goes, all close sets so far, but quality not the highest. Still enjoyable. Diego can win this in 5th.

I think Theim is in hangover mood from his match with Gaston quite frankly,he should have put Shorty away.Shorty gave him plenty of gifts.

I’m exhausted.

Diego gutted out The 4th in the most excruciating fashion, 7-6, 5-7, 6-7, 7-6 So far 4 1/2 hours and counting.

Both player could have Won in straight sets, Diego especially. Never seen someone serve for it 5-4 in three consecutive sets and get broken each time.

Paris could turn into Winter by the time this match is finished :)

Average rank of Nadal’s opponents thus far is 152. If he beats Sinner, he’ll get someone with nothing left in the tank. What a gift for him.

So damn right.
Austria 0:40 in 5th set. He is done.

Finally, this match is over. I don’t take any positives from either player. A very dismal showing on both parts.

Great win by Diego, first top 5 win on a slam for him according to the commentator. It had to happen at some point, he has been very consistent in top 20 in last years.

Too bad he is going to be roasted in SF.

The good news is that Diego had not played a long match until today. The other good news is that he has two days of rest.

Don't forget Rafa's going to have to stay up rather late to get his match in even if it's a short affair! I guess this loss guarantees Djokovic the YE #1 ranking! That's #6 brk'n the tie w/ Fedal & Connors, now ties w/ Sampras?! Just 1 more rec. taken away from the "supposed" GOAT!

This slipped my mind completely. Extra day of rest is exactly what Diego needs.
