Looks like the Rublev-Tsitsipas match will be the only quarterfinal with any hint of doubt.

I am not sure about the outcome of Diego vs Austria.
Could be a bad day for Domina.

Carreno Busta vs Altmaier match will now be on Chatrier after the womens match is finished between Kenin/Ferro (which won't be long)

I can see Schwartzman offering Thiem a tough outing. Schwartzman has been playing extremely well.
Agree. It's just Diego's not so good h2h against Thiem that makes me lean more towards the austrian and also the experience. But Thiem did look mentally/physically a bit tired against Gaston, otherwise he would seal the match in 3 sets or max in 4. It might not mean much, he can easily recover from this.

Diego has been a best returner so far in the tournament and should have his chances tomorrow. Expecting him to come out with all guns blazing.

Me too, just the other way around. nothing better than Novak beating Nadal in FO F. Jesus that would be the maximum. I am sure we will see that match this year!!! So long waiting for that.
I knew you are not one of the many Novak hating bastards in this forum. They are both legends already.

If it happens, the fans will spin it for sure! Just like now with Federer, they'll come up with a reason why it isn't as significant! SAD!

I don't mind if Short man beats Thiem, provided he can follow it up.

Hate? The decision was about applying rules, what was there to hate? Did you hate when they booted Henmen? Shapo? Or whoever? Then Novak fans blamed the woman for causing it, absolute human scums of the earth.

So back on serve in the first set at 6-5

Dominic Theim has the firepower, but he looks a little sluggish. Errors flying off his racket. Just got crushed in the Tie break.

I dunno he just looks so out of spirits. Hopefully Team Theim. gets shocked from this set and it will boost his energy level. Hope springs eternal.

To be honest, I didn’t expect Domi to get this far after winning his maiden slam. In all reality, it looks as though the exhaustion is finally catching him. He’s playing too much defense to beat Shortman. He’s got to step in and boss the rallies and so far he’s not up to it
