Apparently Zverev didn't tell them about his symptoms which was his duty.
What I don't understand is why his temperature wasn't taken before the match. But it is his duty to report symptoms. He has definitely shown that he's not taking this seriously enough.

And still people out there believing that Austria would have won US Open if had to play Novak or Nadal.
I'm not sure who said that, but I actually didn't think he played his best tennis to win it.

That is to be expected. Two players in the finals both eyeing for first-time slam. Obviously, neither played as good as they can actually play.

Thiem to beat Ralph in SF, Nole to beat Thiem in Final ending the year with 18,19 and 20.

Thiem to beat ageing champions Nadal and Djokovic back to back and in the process , gives tennis a much needed shot in the arm.

Good to see you around, GSM. My real point is that I don't think Thiem played his best throughout the USO, or, obviously in "Cincy." I thought he was the in-form player going into the "real" tennis, and he never really found his gear at the USO. He's definitely got a higher one, and will need it to win RG.

I think Thiem is playing better tennis here at RG though I suspect that is what winning a slam does for your game makes you play more carefree.

Rublev did not panic. I’m so looking forward to his quarterfinal with Stefano who looked good in his match with Dimitrov..

I Don't think Zverev did anything wrong or French open, its just a common flu to me he had I myself just happy he got his owned by Sinner even if Nadal would have beat him anyway.

Looks like the Rublev-Tsitsipas match will be the only quarterfinal with any hint of doubt.
