Personally, I'd rather see a guy go for his 2nd serve, hit a few DFs and a get a few good ones in than hit them the speed of Sara Errani's first serve like Murray does with his 2nd.

Nadal better get ready. Black Socks is coming soon to a court near you! :emperor:

Will Christmas come early this year? I doubt it, but who knows we might get lucky.

All depends on your idea of Christmas doesn't it? I have my wishes of who I would like to win this tournament, but I'm positively sure it doesn't mesh w/ yours.

Not watching but I see Bolelli is up 5-1 against Ferrer in set 2.

I'm not saying he should hit a Murray serve, but he could add a little more margin. When he gets to the matches w/ the big boys, you can't afford to give away points like that.

Ferrer has his hands full. Bolelli is whacking his return now.

Big break for sock.Leads 3-3 in the third now. That could be it. Tremendous forehands from him. Very impressed.

Looks like we will have the battle of the clay court 250 champions in the round of 16. Sock vs. Nadal.

Who would have thought it would happen this soon; besides me of course? A possibility of dropping out of the top 10 if he doesn't get past Nole next week; already #11 on live rankings! Wow; the only thing to make it better is a win by Djokovic next Sunday! :popcorn  :dodgy: - If perchance Roger can get through and Nole's been knocked out, I wouldn't mind him taking one more major, but I doubt it'll happen!

Great play by Sock. Nadal will (hopefully) have his hands full against him if he plays this well.

ho hum..

rather one sided easy matches today. no real drama.

No doubt! Except for Ferrer's match, all are straight sets!

ha :) no way I'm watching ferrer though:idea:..he can keep his epic encounter to himself. :devil

Congratulations to Sock, the lone American that managed to enter the second week. :clap

Yeah, impressive and good to see an American player who is decent on clay.
