You presume way too much on the rest of us to know about Leryn Franco. Good gossip, though.

I thought you may remember that they were often seen together in the Olympic village back then.

I've seen a vid Novak dancing some kind of "salsa" after to beat Bautista so I don't think he felt sorry for his 'friend'.......

yes, they are strange, neither his"friend" looked sorry for his own mother.

Personally, I try to stay away from the random gossip. I don't even follow Rafa on twitter or his website. If something is out there in social media, unless someone brings it here, and even then...I'm likely to miss it. I try to keep it mostly about the tennis. With Djokovic, it has been hard, as the last couple of years have been so mysterious, unexplainable. So, yeah, folks do look for other explanations. Even Novak himself has opened up the door that there was "personal" stuff. Let's face it, Mastoor, the last 2 years have been a long, strange trip. Do you have any insight?

I don't. It was all strange to me too. I think he was reluctant to have a surgery in time and wasn't sure what to do and how to explain his situation.

Why? because he was playing? it's very obvious it was a distraction for him to swallow that tough time.

That is the most maudlin and unkind thing you could say. Do you actually think that Novak is uncaring that his colleague lost his mother? Did you not see the exchange at the net? Whatever it is you're trying to say is, imo, cheap and unworthy of you. I hope you'll reconsider.

Cheap???? maybe for you it's ok but not for me. I reconsider it and I keep thinking it wasn't necessary to dance right after the match, that's all. A lot cheaper is to think that "neither his friend looked sorry for his own mother" like Mastoor has said, ugh!

While I understand that we note what goes on with tennis players' lives, for example tragic deaths, I don't think it's fair to make a huge deal out of how other players handle that. You're trying to make out like Djokovic isn't really a friend to RBA if he could be...shockingly...dancing salsa after beating him. He's not really expected to sit shiva on Bautista-Aguts mother. It's very sad what happened to Roberto's mother, and his father, to follow on. But it is not Djokovic's responsibility to be lead-mourner on that. I think you're making a moral judgement where it is not necessary.

It's nothing new to the men's tour! We make this out to be a once in a lifetime occurrence! I don't look for these stories either, but every once in a while it bleeds into a tennis telecast because it can't be overlooked! At the top of the list had to be Nole and his possible entanglements outside his marriage, bringing a love guru in to make it all better! This has been "some fall from grace" by the top player at the time! Smaller incidents were revealed recently with Stan W. & Deliciamo Lopez! They all didn't have to stray! Is 11 months a record in how short a marriage lasted with Everts' to Norman ending after 15 months? :nono:  :cuckoo:

This has been "some fall from grace" by the top player at the time! Smaller incidents were revealed recently with Stan and his dalliance with a young Chippy from the WTA causing strife, then estrangement into divorce from his wife! It's not talked about, but the worst offender will always be Deliciamo Lopez who within months of his marriage to a model is catting around the world with her posting and acknowledging something in the neighborhood of 200 women this guy has had over the years! Just because women and a lot of guys throw themselves at him, he didn't have to stray so often! Is 11 months a record in how short a marriage lasted with Everts' to Norman ending after 15 months! Cheating once is horrific; F. Lopez is gross in these times of health issues! For all we know, this fool might be in the books later as "Patient Zero" when some new strain of virus is diagnosed! We can only hope he took "some" care! :nono:  :cuckoo:
That's a lot of moral judgement in one post. Good thing you put all that trash out there, in case anyone had missed it. B-)

Well living in denial works for some people!  :banghead: :help:
And trading in unsubstantiated bullshit for others. Personally, I wouldn't repeat some of that stuff even amongst friends. Nice job being the National Enquirer of the forums.

Ok, I'll tone it back if you feel it's just rumor-mongering! I thought it was all out there for everyone to see! :yesyes:

On another note...did anyone see Cecchinatto getting to this round? Has anyone actually watched him play?

Sorry mate, but I didn't understand how any of what you wrote is related to what i wrote. I think you called Pepe Imaz love guru, but what exactly did you refer to? What Nole's possible entanglements outside his marriage?
