I understand where BB's tone comes from. Me too, sometimes, likes to take things lightly, with a bit of smile/joke, while serious fans are conducting fedal wars.
Andy Roddick has commented about this famous Nadal cramp video, that such things happen to all players all the time and there is nothing to talk about for both pro and anti-nadalities. I'm semi-pro athlete and do understand this. But regardless this reasonable insider explanation, the picture is really impressive and can incite deep feelings. But take Andy's and my word for it: this is completely normal after strong physical effort, just relax...

If one does not know the context and is watching that presser, it is kind of hilarious. One minute he is up and talking and next he falls down without control. This coupled with he being "alpha male" makes it hilarious, but at the same time one is worried whether he died.

If he is what I think he is, then yes. Also, like most other posts on this board I'm talking from my perspective. I know he has millions upon millions of fans that will be upset when he retires but for me? I will be a happy camper.
What you think is what you WANT to think, even against all arguments, and good ones, that flummox yours. Ask even your fellow fed fans. Your anti-Nadal is all pro-Fed and nothing else. Of course you are welcome to your fan-bias, but recognize it for what it is. It's not just the legions of Nadal fans that will be sad when he retires. There are plenty of people who just appreciate tennis that will be sorry, too. (And yes, the money-makers.) But let's not pretend that your bile against him comes from anything other than Roger-fannishness. You try to make him out to be so many vile things that's he's just not. Because he's been Roger's bete noire. There is no other reason.

Can't help it that video did put a smile on my face I admit it. And yes I cringe every time I see Fed cry at the AO open losing to Nadal. Cuts but both ways but how many Nadalites out there never get tired of that video. LoL

We understand that all the athletes are crying and are sometimes very emotional but truly this time was too much, I rather to see an athlete with cramps and pain which happens often than an athlete crying tha way

They should send the check by post to runners up. The trophy presentation and speeches should only be given by the winner. That way we can avoid this kind of melodrama. Only in Tennis, they want the loser to give a speech immediately after losing before they have had time to come to terms with the loss. In no other sports, they do this.

The rainy conditions is a tricky thing. It should not rain heavily as in that case, they will stop play and then resume it on Monday under sunny conditions which will again help the dirt devil, not to mention the regrouping that he could do and not to mention the lack of fatigue to him caused by the match being split.

It should be drizzling continuously just to make him annoyed, but not heavy enough to stop the play.

I think you will also prefer to see Nadal fart in the press room. We know how far up dull's ass your head is, you don't have to prove it with every post.

I’m starting to understand that you really have more admiration for Nadal than Federer and you are doing this to have more fun than anything else :lol6:
