Well, if nothing else, Kei should take a lesson from what Berdych and Monfils didn't do today, which was take advantage of Djokovic's weak 2nd serve. He's clearly got a chance on offer. Djokovic is not at his best, and it's not going to get better for Kei anytime soon.

I'm always a bit wary of Nishikori's head when the pressure is on against one of the big boys in the business end of a tournament.

Exactly, and that's why he never has won a MS

Who's been to Toronto? Pics look good... Toronto and Vancouver have always been on my bucket list.

i hope to go and visit toronto at least -- i'm told it's really beautiful and that people are very nice there. and so clean.

nole has to serve to stay in the second SET - 4-5 and try to finish this match.

THE GREAT NOVAK DJOKOVIC OF SERBIA wins his 30th MASTERS. CONGRATS!

BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME - TO KEI NISHIKORI OF JAPAN who also played a fine tour this week!

NOVAK started a new tradition that has to be embraced by all in this world of so much strife and hatred...

HUGS,

so SLAVIC of him! as i also personally witness among the russians in st petersburg -- another revelation for me there -- that they loved to hug all the time.

he might end up that way , Carol.

but for now -- we just have to wait and see - sometimes we know that someone wins a masters once ina while out of a somewhat ''easier'' draw..even the best like novak have had some titles like that -- even roger, even nadal. all of them at some point ..generally anway. and nishikori might yet have his chance like that.

but one thing is clear -- while he IS A SUPERB player in his own right -- NOLE , NADAL, ROGER, MURRAY ARE quite a separate class on their own.
