That's precisely why I say it's NOT black& white. I don't consider barking--if not regular and constant behavior--to be necessarily bad behavior--I think it shows honest emotion--which makes someone more genuine in my book...It is black & white. Behavior is either good or not. His tonight is not, be it Spanish, English or whatever language. Tossing racquets and public barking is never good. I'm sure it will be pointed out to him later and he'll have to answer for it whether it's the media or his own team. Not that it means much, but he especially doesn't get a pass from me.
Look people can be genuine or not. They can show emotion, that doesn't mean it's good. He's a role model now. Kids look up to him. His behavior, especially in public should always reflect his audience. It's part of the price he pays for this stardom. Besides, who wants to hear all that chirping. I know I don't. There's nothing enjoyable about watching Murray and others constantly berating their box because they're getting bossed on the court. You're not always going to have it your way. That's precisely why I say it's NOT black& white. Great win for Paul. Well, Alcaraz looked ready for a loss, but good time to let off the steam-valve.Tommy up 5-2. He's writing another big result in the history books if he can win one more game
Really should have lost last night, but as AP says Hubi doesn't have the stones to do the job. Apparently Tommy is sporting some gigantic ones.Great win for Paul. Well, Alcaraz looked ready for a loss, but good time to let off the steam-valve.
I agree with Roberto that it's not black & white. Personally, I don't mind Murray's chirping. It's at his own box, or at himself, and he's otherwise a very good role model. As to general purposes, I don't mind the odd outburst if it's not habitual, out of the ordinary, or directed at others, which includes the crowd and the chair umpire. As to Alcaraz, he's generally a well-behaved player and a gentlemanly presence on court. He did break a racquet today. I will forgive him, as long as he doesn't make a habit of it.Look people can be genuine or not. They can show emotion, that doesn't mean it's good. He's a role model now. Kids look up to him. Too good Gael, Jannik continues with poor service games he will pay for it and end up losing this matchMonfils just aced his way into a 3rd set.
Then it's a matter of preference and opinion. Which is fine. You & Roberto like all that noise. I can do w/o it.I agree with Roberto that it's not black & white. I Co Sign, he has an excellent chance to win his first Masters 1000, agree No Excuses!I just want to say this: Absolutely NO EXCUSES from Sinner not to win his maiden M1000 title here this weekend. Two of his biggest nemesis are out (Alcaraz and Medvedev) and he received a walkover so he should be physically fresh!
Also, he will more than likely not face a Top 10 player this week, so he should definitely win the title here, no darn excuses!
Yes, it's a matter of taste, as long as you don't see it as hinderance. I wouldn't say I "like" the grunting or shrieking...I simply don't mind it. I accept it as part of process. It's never bothered me when I watch a match in person. And when I watch I home, I have a volume control on my tv, which I'm sure yours does, too. Then it's a matter of preference and opinion. Absolutely. Opportunity laid at his doorstep. I'd love to see him seize it.I just want to say this: Absolutely NO EXCUSES from Sinner not to win his maiden M1000 title here this weekend.
