I see online that Sinner has been given a "walkover" vs Murray! WTF? Was looking forward to seeing the old man run around like a chicken w/ his head cut off! I guess he wanted no part of that! He's just going to mentally break down the NG'r who can't handle the one-sided fandom cheering him on as they DF and commit UFE's! Oh well, early night in Canada! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :astonished-face: :fearful-face:

Due to Murray having to withdraw earlier with an abdominal injury, doubt he will be able to play Cincinnati, he also said this might be the last appearance in Canada. Major props to Murray he came on court and explained to the fans why he had to withdraw!

Gael vs Sinner. Who ya got? I'm sticking with LeMonf if he can make Sinner play from the backcourt until he can work his magic

Not a surprise. Meddy had a match won last year during the fall indoors against D-Minor and he completely snatched away victory and settled for the defeat. So he gave the Energizer Bunny some confidence then. Going forward, he will have a difficult time tempering that belief.

Well Alex to me hasnt really got a lot of weapons to defeat top players, though he is that type of player that plays every points and dosent give up, he has been coached by Hewitt, Meddy too many UFE in the 1st set, off his game today for sure.

I didn't see the match, but a friend said Daniil got a bit mopey at the end. He needs to work on his belief. Great scalp for DeMinaur.

Charly starting slow again and wild shots to boot!
Girl, Tommy beat him at this tournament last year in 3 sets. He may not be able to recover again like he did last night. Probably just as well. Because if he starts like this in SF against string bean, he will get smoked.

Well I was looking forward to my string bean playing Charly, lets see if he does recover, though I maybe getting ahead of myself string bean has to beat Gael first

Interesting note to folks who claim that Carlos is always the perfect gentleman on court: so far he has thrown his racket on the court before sitting down after losing the first set, and screaming at his box that he has no forehand and can't play today (in Spanish)....
Don't get me wrong--I actually like the guy :). But I know some folks like things to be black and white and they rarely are IMHO :)

It is black & white. Behavior is either good or not. His tonight is not, be it Spanish, English or whatever language. Tossing racquets and public barking is never good. I'm sure it will be pointed out to him later and he'll have to answer for it whether it's the media or his own team. Not that it means much, but he especially doesn't get a pass from me.
