There is so much of your personal bias in here that it's hard to know where to start. There is nothing laughable or ironic about a Nadal fan accusing Federer of doping. It's no more laughable or ironic, and no less slanderous and baseless, than when you and other Fed fans accuse Rafa. It has always been, however, very amusing how utterly lacking of any skepticism you and Darth were when Roger came back from his long lay-off and all but immediately won his first major in almost 5 years. At 35. Beating Rafa in 5, after surviving 2 other 5 setters along they way. During which he had some well-timed MTOs of his own. Got out of tough spots with MTOs and won the tournament, same as your complaint about Nadal at Wimbledon in '10.
A basic fallacy of your point about Roger and the MTO at the USO recently is that your outrage is because he was injured. See, the problem is that you assume that when Rafa has taken these MTO's that he isn't, or isn't suffering something. For you, when Rafa does something, you immediately not only question the motives, you have no doubt that it's completely fake and opportunistic. If Roger does something, he must have had good reason, because, hey, he's Roger. See how naive and biased that comes across? I never said that Roger didn't have reason to take that MTO, or all of the other ones. The point is when they are taken...if you have a problem with one, you should have a problem with them all. If you believe Roger's are legit, esp. given his generally good health across the years, than you should give a benefit of the doubt to Rafa's concerns when he calls the trainer, given how he has had so many injuries over the years, and that he has an on-going knee tendinitis issue, as well as a congenital foot problem. The chances that Nadal actually had something to be concerned about are far greater than Federer having same, esp. until the last few years.
Have a good night.
