Multiple Major Winner
OMG, Lopez/Nadal win gold! I was doubting. The Roumanians were really tough. Excellent match.
Wow. Congratulations to the Rafa fans out there.

I am in such a mess with the scheduling... I thought the Doubles final was in a few hours and they are deep in the second set already. I have trouble even tracking what day it is in Rio half the time.
Thanks, pal. A gold for Spain, and a nice win for two good friends. I don't see how Nadal will have anything left for Juan Martin tomorrow, but I won't feel sad about that. Del Potro for the Gold, then.Wow. Congratulations to the Rafa fans out there.
I doubt he will, either. He's done probably more than he'd hoped at these Olympics. And let's be honest: the gold medal is something which having one is great, but having two doesn't change anything. Sort of like the YEC...either you have one, or you don't, but they don't really matter as much as Majors or MS when they pile up.What a match. Down a break in the third they rallied back with a titanic effort. Nadal really played his ass off and Lopez has such tremendous instinct for doubles. Nadal might not have much left for tomorrow but I doubt he'll care too much.
that 3rd set in dubz final was 1hr 9mins long. 1hr 9mins for a 6-4 set.
Murray, Nadal, Nishikori and Del Potro form Semi-Final Quartet in Rio.
A mouth watering quartet of Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, Kei Nishikori and Juan Del Potro will do battle in the Olympic Semi-Finals of the Men’s Singles in Rio De Janeiro. Delpo's 4-8 H2H v Rafa isn't bad considering they were played in Rafa's prime.
the qf singles were a blizzard of interesting goings-on.
I was trying to watch 3 matches on at same time via pirate streams, rafa overcame sloppy play, an inspired bellucci and raucous home crowd,
murray was break point down serving at 4-4 in 3rd set..a long rally then happened, the tension was mental.
and del potro kept the undreamable dream alive seeing off his somewhat pushfest opponent..rba.
mr del goatro wins 4 matches in a row for first time since 2013 prob.
Manacor's bull rocks, he wants to make Spain proud of him unlike Paire who gave France a bad name one more time !!
Vamos Rafa and Marc! The Battle of the Wrists tomorrow in the s/final match,I have to agree with other posters,Rafa might not have much left in the tank.....still he will give it his best shot......Rafa and Marc are childhood friends what an incredible achievement for both players to win the Gold Medal for Spain!
