Delpo has a good chance, Manacor's bull could be washed this time
vamos Juan

can you just imagine if Delpo goes on and actually wins GOLD for argentina? it would be for the ENTIRE continent, i tell you! and what a ''comeback" from his injury that would be, don't you think? but first he has to try and take down the GOLD CHAMPION 2008 NADAL Himself !

I'd love it if Delpo won gold. Can you imagine all those hours of despair he must have gone through, all those hours of rehab, all those false dawns...

It would be great to see him on the winners podium.

He's a bag of contradictions - that's for sure. Blows with the wind of the occasion... - anyone wins an event and they are proclaimed a GOAT or mid-match dishing out superlatives like hot cakes. He's like a travelling salesman.

I know. I don't see how anyone can take John seriously. He's ridiculous, and that's putting it mildly.

What a bad fault by Rafa in the most critic time but Great Nadal!!! :good: what a superb tournament he has done and even he looked tired I can't believe that he was still alive and given so much work to Delpo who looked a lot more fresh and his serve worked better than the previous matches but almost close to lose too.
Tomorrow Muzz will win his second GM :yesyes:

Spain breaks back in the 3rd. 4 all. This is a really fun match. And, no, I don't think Rafa will have anything left for Juan Martin tomorrow.

I didn't think he would have anything left for del Potro either, but he almost pulled it off. Rafa is an amazing athlete. Before the tournament started I wasn't sure he'd win any matches having not played for 72 days, but that just goes to show just how talented he is. So proud of him. Love Rafa.

OMG, Lopez/Nadal win gold! I was doubting. The Roumanians were really tough. Excellent match.

Nadal/Lopez already won the gold! Wow! I was under the weather for the past two days and didn't even see the match. What a successful tournament for Nadal. He did so much better than I expected. I had very little hope for him in this tournament, but he far exceeded my expectations.

That was a great match! I couldn't be prouder of Nadal. He spent an extra five hours on court than del Potro and still made it very competitive. He definitely is THE GREAT NADAL. Many people doubted his decision, but I think he still came out good. What an athlete.

Kei didn't look himself today, or was that yesterday? He didn't seem very engaged in his match against Murray. Now, I'm rooting for Puig. It would be so nice to see her win a big one. She's such a feisty competitor.

I'm sorry that I missed the match. I wanted to watch it but I didn't know when it was. It's so rare to see these two layers playing both in their form.

Hopefully I won't miss the final. Let the better Delpo win!

I am not that keen on watching Rafa and Kei match.

COULD BE -- but i think andy's intensity was getting to Kei - frankly.

not the same ''expression' of intensity as RAFA'S who is more exuberant -- but a more ''intimidating" king -- i think -- that gets to kei.
