Punchy line from Stefanos Tsitsipas,

"Novak Djokovic has been playing by his own rules".
"We've all followed the protocols to compete in Australia----and a very small minority chose to follow their own way which makes (us) look like fools".
He has put his fellow players in an awkward position as well in which they are going to be asked about it, and I would be annoyed too and throw him under the bus.

Denada senorita....I felt the BBC article really outline in details what the possible next steps are instead of myself and everyone making numerous inquiries to you. I know Moxie's inquires are annoying. Jajaja. Just kidding. Moxie is the BEST but don't EVER tell her
Please her head is big enough....dont tell her that okay,I did give her an award for the best post of the year so far.:)

what a mess, both ATP and WTA in the headline news during the offseason for off-court stuff :fearful-face:

I disagree with the Lance Armstrong comparison, Djokovic wasn't ever that famous or well-liked here or a confessed doper. More like the Kyrie Irving of tennis

Justice would be served if an infectious person coughed on him. That would end this circus.

I disagree as well! Novak has done little to nothing that's comparable to Armstrong! That a-hole ruined lives making out everyone was a liar but him! Armstrong also used drugs to enhance his abiities! How TF's avoiding a vaccine anywhere near such infamy that went on for over a decade?

This is interesting from that article:

McGuire also said that Australian officials told Djokovic upon his arrival last week that if he had agreed to get one vaccination shot, they would have cleared him to enter the country because they would have counted his positive Covid-19 test last month as one vaccination as well.

“Had Novak Djokovic on Sunday or Monday acquiesced to taking a vaccination in Australia, they would have said Dec. 16 you had Covid, we’ll tick that off as one one vaccination, you’ve got the second one, all clear you can play,” he said. “He hasn’t done that.”

-------------------------

So they offered him to take a jab and stay, all done, and he still wouldn't do it. He does really think he's bigger than Australian law. They really sort of have to yank his visa.

I hadn’t encountered that, either, before reading this article. Yep, they genuinely tried to help him get in, and he refused to comply.

I mean really the Judge can’t say they weren’t willing to work with Djokovic given the circumstances. Falsifying records is a serious crime. If I was someone in jail for it in Australia, I would appeal and cite Djokovic as a beacon of not following visa guidelines.
