I don't know if Arizona will have enough offense, road games are so tough in the NFL and we are getting plenty of reminders this season so far.

Very true.. road games are really tough.. the Steelers vs the Raven should be a very tough game.. during the era of Ray Lewis.. this was one of the beat rivalaries in the game. I am on the fence with this one..

Yes 13 is correct,, this is the half way point of the season, so quite a few teams have byes

Most teams can lose 3 in a row, you picked Charges quite a few times I believe, do you like them, AP?

I am not emotionally attached to any of the teams, so I don't get dragged into "they are so good, they must win" or some other bias. The only reason I picked Broncos is because I figured that everybody else would pick the Patriots so I decided to be different (and both teams are playing well atm).

I am not picking the Saints as they still haven't won a game on the road, they might do it this week, but hopefully not.

The only sure win for me is the Seattle, maybe add KC to it as I saw how awful Jets were in their last game.

See, now that I started analyzing things, I am going to go downhill.:snigger

You are correct, most teams can loose 3 in a row and the Chargers are notorious for being the type of team that does it a the beginning of every football season, maybe this year things may be different, Any Given Sunday

Once you think you know what's going on and analyze it you might start picking as poor as I have this year :cover

At least I'm up about $400 for the real picking (gambling) this year. Indy is my cash cow and I will be betting on them again this week to cover 3.5 points against the banged up Giants. I stayed away from their game last week as I knew it'd be tough to call.

And I will add: only poor/mediocre and badly injured teams can lose 3 in a row unless the schedule is deadly. For SD it is a combo of both; they started great but they are still a 10-6 team at best and the schedule was pretty tough with road games at Denver and Miami and a home game vs. a desperate KC team. Miami is pretty solid and I expect them to win on Sunday.

Alex Smith,hmmm well I won't dig.

Broncos wasn't really an upset pick, but people fall in love really quickly with the Broncos. Despite what happened today they are still probably the best team in the NFL but a road game is tough and playing a red hot Patriots team on the road was edge New England all the way.
