Where's the pass rush? Brees has a smoke break to throw

Silly rabbit Peyton. Going for it on 4th and 2 in a tie game on the first drive of the 2nd half. That risk was unnecessary there.

Rodgers is hurt and throws a pick, they just can't do anything right this game, and if Rodgers is out it's over

And I won't be able to watch the rest. Must get to bed so I can return to work tomorrow, so I'll have to hear about it in the a.m. Brees is cutting them up right now. That defense looks shaky.

Denver definitely looks like the team to beat in the NFL this year. The defense is much improved with the big names they brought in. There have been numerous occasions in prior years where teams bring in many new players on defense and it ends up having a negative effect (Philly is a prime example). Clearly not the case with Denver this year.

Denver and the Boys are playing the best ball, I just hope the Niners get healthy and all our starting players back in a few weeks, ( heck I guess all teams share that same sentiment:dodgy:)

The Boys are nothing. Right now Arizona is looking pretty darn good but on the whole the NFC has no stand out teams. Yesterday was a good opportunity for GB to have a straightforward path to at least a bye (they have 5 of the last 8 at home and road games are against Minny, Tampa and Buffalo). It was a huge loss and despite the final score it's one they had a lot of opportunities to be leading big until Rodgers got hurt.

Still 5-3 was the most realistic expectation before the season started. Rodgers says it is minor, but hamstring issues can linger and we all see how worthless this team is when he is out/banged up.

I told you Ed would have at least one big call. I'll have to watch the replay on the NFL channel.

It's easy to mess up if you're only watching the replay a couple times but it was a situation where the GB receiver caught it for a 1st down but his momentum carried him right to the marker. The defender hit him with his foot (while the receiver's knee was down and then touched him again after when the ball had gone further back. If Ed had noticed the foot hitting first the 1st down would have stood, instead they made it 4th and a foot and GB went for it and failed.

Either way they weren't winning last night once Rodgers tweaked his hamstring but it was a big call that pretty much ended the game on the spot once New Orleans went up 14.

Wow.. Arod went about 215 passes with throwing a pick.. Lets not count that one because of the leg injury.. Damn.. I hope that its minor because its a pure joy to watch this guy play that position at such a high level.. its very reminisce of Joe Montana IMO

Maybe they will since he can't do anything for them this year. And to think, they booted Lovie and attached themselves to Jay long term. Look where they are now. :cover

Lovie wouldn't save that defense. Chicago has an atrocious defense and a very talented offense headed by a turnover prone qb. It was always going to be a 9-7 squad at best.

That was hilarious. It makes it ten times better that it was the Pat's backup and the Bears were down 25 in the 4th quarter.
