Yes, he does deserve a well earned rest.At least he gets to rest his body, Margaret
Well that’s encouraging news: Nadal is already doing leg exercises in the gym.
Rafanoy I don't want to hear your voice of caution!!While it is encouraging news, Nadal doing leg exercises/workouts are not good indicators that he is pain free or ready to comeback. I am curious when he can start doing some upper extremities workouts.
I read that the other day and just laughed and laughed .....thats our RafaRuud is apparently also an ardent golf fan and plays. He has played Rafa. This will make you laugh, (though not be surprised):
Casper Ruud: 'No Joke' Playing Golf With Rafael Nadal | ATP Tour | Tennis
Casper Ruud discusses his love for golf and his experience on the course with Rafael Nadal in his semi-final press conference at the 2022 Miami Open presented by Itau.www.atptour.com
I am hoping he does it again at the 2022 French Open.Great stat! I was pretty astonished when he did it recently in Acapulco (on HC and at 35,) but the one that I thought was really amazing was 2020 French Open, given what seemed like the many obstacles, (barely having played since the Covid shutdown; cooler, wetter weather in Paris in autumn; new, heavier balls; being 34; playing Novak in the final.)
Fantastically optimistic! And I hope you get your wish. But, holy Toledo...I could live with just winning it, and not shaving too many years off of the lives of us dear fans.I am hoping he does it again at the 2022 French Open.
Just do not be in Djokovicś half! And be healthy, por favor!Fantastically optimistic! And I hope you get your wish. But, holy Toledo...I could live with just winning it, and not shaving too many years off of the lives of us dear fans.
I respect what a great rival Novak is, and I'm not minimizing the danger, but The French Open is the tournament where a healthy Rafa is THE player nobody wants on their side of the draw. It's him against the field.Just do not be in Djokovicś half! And be healthy, por favor!
Rafa has been practicing with more intent and in the gym so it looks like he will be headed for Madrid,if he keeps on track with his current practice schedule. So what are the odds of Nadal being able to play Madrid? Any updates?
