Pavs has fallen off the wagon. Error after error after bad shot selection and she is down a break in the decider 4-1

How things change, Pavly just broke JJ and will now serve for the match, leading the decider 6-5

Except the more things change, the more they stay the same. She's broken and we're in a breaker.

Neither could serve it out. Now they're in a TB. I'll be disappointed for JJ if she loses this. Not a good TB so far.

JJ really went away in the TB. Pavs comes through 7-3 in the breaker

^She didn't. I thought she would have fought harder for it. Pavs played it well, though.

I think she will fall to Ana too, she won't have much left after today's two and half hour match.

Speaking of pot-stirring…I don't imagine Suarez-Navarro has anything like the fire power to do Serena in, but she's been very hot of late, and she's playing in Spain…can she give her a fight?

Not really, she hasn't won a set off Serena yet. But that may happen...
I think Serena, Aga, Masha, Petra and Ana will move on to quarters without much trouble....

More interesting match is Sloane vs Na
Can Sloane do to Li what she did to Serena last year? Li is capable of having senior moments you know.

I also like Garcia vs. Errani, I think that could be surprising.
Then there is Sabine versus Simona.
Oooh lala!!

Serena had a large wrap on her leg

how serious is the leg injury. She says

its preventative but ........

That big a wrap speaks of Injury

Serena:
''I just had some issues and went preventive to make sure I didn't make anything worse,'' said Williams. ''I'm literally taking it one day, one match at a time, and not putting any pressure on myself.''
