Impossible not to see Novak reach the final at least. Birdman always books a flight for the morning after the quarters - religiously - and then there's two lads who are game but not up to this level.

Novak might have to play in Simon in the SF? Remember AO match between them?

Is that the match Nole had 100 UFE's? :puzzled :nono :cover :eyepop

Glad to see you always remain hopeful for a Djokovic loss GSM. :snicker

Young Nick had yet another vain and pointless altercation with the umpire, and he dragged Rafa's name into it. Is this the second time he's done that? :popcorn

Kieran, Isnt it astonishing how there is a such a huge bias or a lot of jealousy against Rafa. IMO

No, it's not astonishing. What is astonishing is that you fail to realize he's right. Many have complained that they get time violations and Rafa doesn't. There are about 2 umpires out there with the balls to give him a time violation/point penalty and the rest are cowards. Kyrgios is right. And don't forget Rafa had the cheek to ban one of the umpires for actually having the balls to enforce the rules. Don't intend playing by the rules so ban the umpire. That's more astonishing than anything above.

It's just abuse of power 'cos I guarantee Sharadopa will get a VERY reduced sentence whereas a nobody would 100% be banned the full 4 years. The authorities are cowards to let all this happen. Btw Kyrgios is a whiner, no doubt about that but he's also correct to state Rafa does get treated differently, very differently. He's been allowed get away with abusing the time between points almost his whole career bar a handful of points.

Yeah...... sure...... and that's why Rafa has beaten Roger so many times :snicker but the players which are walking sloooooly between the points or the ones which bounce the ball 200 times don't count for you , eh?...yeah.....sure...
I just can say that the ones which defend the Kyrgios patethetic reactions are as big mouth as him

No, he's beaten Federer for other reasons but that clearly helped a lot. It's no secret that all his stalling annoys opponents and then their games go to pieces. I just said above Kyrgios is a whiner but also he's correct regarding Nadal and anyone can see that. Except a few obviously.

Btw, there's not a lot wrong with what he said even if it comes across as whining due to a code violation.

"This game is biased as anything. You all know it as well. It's biased as shit, this game. What else has it got to hide? It's ruined. Absolutely ruined."

^ He's 100% right. Dopers given reduced sentences, some none at all, nobodies given the full ban or life bans in the case of match fixing, while the more famous/high profile players get next to no ban for doping offenses and the idiots buy their lies. Cowardly umpires favoring some players over others and who are too scared to upset the status quo by enforcing the actual rules. Umpires who let illegal coaching go on without penalty during matches. Silent bans, pathetic testing. They still only test the losing player 99% of the time. Hence how Sharadopa was caught. Here's proof for all of you blind enough to think tennis has good doping controls. Heather Watson was tested ONCE after winning and the rest of her tests her whole career were after she lost. How random is that?

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/mar/11/heather-watson-tennis-drug-testing-international-tennis-federation

Federer tested only ONCE in 10 years (!) at Dubai.

http://www.afp.com/en/news/federer-calls-consistent-global-dope-testing

At least Roger wants samples kept for 10 years and wants them to be retroactively tested when anti doping technology improves. No one but him has asked for this so there's got to be a reason he wants it done. He knows there are cheats out there and he wants them caught. Notably it also means he's likely clean to be calling for such measures. Still though, the testing in tennis is beyond a joke so, yes, Kyrgios is 100% correct.

Front. Man. You barely get to see Nadal play(go deep) in tournaments anymore, why are you whining lol. And Kyrgios is a damn retard and a whiner. If we had actual stats, you'd be surprised how much some players take between their serves and win in the most disgusting way. But enough about that, l am still crying because of the Thiem-Djokovic match. There is only one man who can bare the burden of wasting 3863992938 break points, The Deathless One. Dominic lost that match because of some awful returns and being generally unclutch. His baseline game can hang with Novak's comfortably though.

Thiem only converted 1 of 14 break points I believe yesterday. As bad as Roger there.

My photographic memory thinks it was "1 of 15" BP's! No worries mate! :p  :dodgy: :ras:

I could have read up to grab a link but I was busy with the more important links above :p But yeah, I think you're right. Either way it's a crap stat. I mean kudos to Novak for saving many but out of 14 or 15 or whatever, a fair few have to be just plain blown chances too.

PM.. Rafa could be Front's wingman at bar.. pick these two international super models who come from very wealthy families and Front would still complain about Rafa... With Front the best thing to do is the old Dr. Seuss book(my favorite one) Green Eggs and Ham

Front , Would you hang out with Rafa

Front reply:

I could not, would not, hang with Rafa on a boat.
I will not, will not, hang with Rafa with a goat.
I will not hang with Rafa in the rain.
I will not hang with Rafa on a train.
Not in the dark! Not in a tree!
Not in a car! You let me be!
I do not want to hang with Rafa in a box.
I do not want to hang with Rafa with a fox.
I will not want to hang with Rafa in a house.
I do not want to hang with Rafa with a mouse.
I do not like Rafa here or there.
I do not like Rafa ANYWHERE!

I do not like
Rafael Nadal

Just looked at the draw; Nole has it easy-peasy compared to the bottom where it's loaded; Raonic, Kei, Monfils, & Kyrgios! Poor things are going to have to perform "big time" to make the finals! :cover  :dodgy: :eyepop :p

Are you kidding me Front? from where have you had that information, from some Swiss newspaper, from his own words or maybe from fans like you who believes everything he says like in the "sects"? :speechless:

Front, Kyrgios is right of course but sport is now an arms race between what's allowed and what the player takes. ITF just knows where its bread is buttered. Of course IF caught punishment 'should' be consistent. But even there its a fools dream to imagine that sport somehow is immune to the laws of economics. It's really as simple as a homeless person doing five years for what anyone who can afford a good lawyer gets away with a slap on the wrist. It's not fair of course but when was life fair? and what Is fair in big money professional sports? There is a very thin line between bring 'officially clean' and 'clean'. Its difficult to define what clean is anymore. Roger is likely clean but that only means he has the means to stay ahead of the system. Same with Novak's egg. Is it legit? Depends on who you ask. Heck, even access to better racquet technology can decidedly provide competitive advantage. Is that legit? The way to tackle the menace is by keeping tennis tennis, i.e. primarily a skill of sport and not change it into a 27 mile marathon. Doping was very much possible even in the 90s. Ben Johnson tested positive in 1988? How come so few ATP players won on all surfaces in the 90s? Getting rid of this lunacy of uniformization and slowing down of surfaces will help tennis 100 times more than all the doping controls in the world. At least it is logistically possible and straightforward and it can be maintained to be Exactly the same for any two players no matter who they are.
