Roger should have sucked it up...

If this was a Slam - he'd have played. He'd have been like Pete Sampras at the US Open - ralphing at the back of the court in between points. :lolz: This is unless of course he had diarrhea, in which case...that wouldn't have been pretty for anybody to see...:cry

As talented as Andy is (let's ignore the fact that his forehand has a technical issue to it), he is hilariously unfit for a top guy. He was barely running after balls in the third set

:puzzled Did he seem rather thick to you? He looked as though he is competing with Wawrinka for the "Nalbandian Buffet Award".

Nah, Murray has looked like this for a year or two now. The problem is his stamina. And I don't know what the hell is he doing with his fitness coach. He is packing way too much muscle mass ( and a bit of fat, I must say ) to play long matches. It would make sense for someone who plays like Roger to get buff but Andy is crazy for doing that.

Muzzard takes an early flight to see his baby;)

As I said the other day - they just need to halt the men's tourney and give Nole the trophy because Murray will undoubtedly be the next big name out of the tournament. At this rate Nole will have to break BOTH legs AND his right arm to lose.

The theme in men's tennis is Djokovic and the rest, these days.
And the rest does not always means he will have another member of the usual suspects at the end of proceedings. Slowly the picture starts to change.

At the rate Murray's going with these early round losses Roger can sit out through Rome and still return to #2 in the world. Roger's got 350 points to defend. Murray's going to lose 555 points with this loss. At that point he's only 120 points ahead of Roger. Then he's got 1250 to defend - 240 from Munich and 1000 from Madrid before Rome. He skipped Monte Carlo last year, but he'll probably have to play this year or he'll be #3 if Roger plays and makes it to the QF. I can't really see him repeating at Madrid, so if Stan gets his head out of his butt he could make a move on the #3 spot and Murray could be #4 by the time the French Open starts.
Only Stan has showed that has what it takes to defeat Djoker on clay. For Rafa fans, he will have to win two of the big clay three(Monte Carlo, Madrid or Rome) to have any chance to get into the top 4 seeds.

Grigor and Andy now 3-3 against each other since 2014 (0-3 to Andy before that).

Correct, but based on Grigor's last year accomplishments, this one came out of nowhere.
Now let's see if he can follow it up, because he will have to upset a few more guys to make this look like something else than a flash in a pan.

There's no highlights video in the link you have posted. Why are you posting your fake videos? Does this site even have moderators?

That vid might be a dud, but Pavlik has been indispensable and much appreciated around here for his videos. Look back through his posts and you'll find a treasure chest of video highlights for those of us who don't have cable television...

:nono

With your 8 posts why are you attacking a valued poster or the message boards? Next time, before you go crazy again, why don't you go to the Message Boards Announcements forum and learn a little bit by reading?

@pavlik89

This is an apology to you. Forgive my ignorance. I saw your video and formed a wrong opinion about you. I didn't know anything about you.

Sorry guys.

Tignor has gone out on a limb somewhat by predicting a set for Thiem. he also fancies Grigor to rubberstamp his victory over Murray with a win against Monfils. I have to say, I think he's being ambitious both times, but they should be good matches...

I think this does not show that Grigor has improved. This only shows how badly Andy sucks that he loses even to a slumping Grigor.

No surprises today in the first 3 matches:
Berdych defeats Gasquet in 3 Simon and Goffin beat Pouille and Zeballos in straight sets.

Thiem is absolutely pummelling the ball. Some great tennis from both guys.

Novak certainly had to work to win that match. Thiem has no "quit" in him. You could see where he got discouraged, but he never stopped going for his shots.
