Given that both Ruud and Cerendolo prefer the clay, they're going to go into the clay season feeling pretty good about life.

Carlos at 5-11 1/2 or 6-0 is probably tall “enough”, Stan Wawrinka is at best 6’ and he gets plenty of heat on his serves.

Besides, with his blazing speed Carlos has the reach of someone 6’ -5”. ; )

I have to agree with Moxie,Carlos has put on muscle since last year, regards to his height and his age,and a male,he could still have a bit of growing height wise.I think at this stage he does not need to add any more muscle.

Even though Franicsco Cerundolo's Cinderella run came to an end today, losing to Ruud 4 and 1, , this tournament is HUGE for him, he leaped 52 places in the ranking to get to a career high # 51, no more qualifying to get into the red clay tournaments this spring or the rest of the year...

Carlos has breathed life into this event,he is singlehandedly bringing fans to the venue. The WTA is just boring with no interesting matchups.WTA needs a character like Alcaraz to bring attention to the tour..

The support is hometown with a huge Hispanic population in Miami! It's what swept Sabatini past Graf so often down there! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :shushing-face::partying-face:

Well we did have young Emma who last year shook the WTA up winning the USO,since then she has lost her way.
Though in saying that players like young Carlos who is soo special do not appear that often in our game.,so we can sit back and enjoy what he does bring to the court.

Hubie and Carlos have never played. I see that Carlos is favored, but HH is the defending champ. Does Carlos's run end here?

Look at the patience of Carlos to hold his shots. He's got a good head for a teenager.

Huge hold for Alcaraz! He's absolutely soaked. Can't even put the ball in his pocket. Also shares that with Nadal. Very sweaty.
