Just a few stats for Carlos Alcaraz,
If Carlos wins in Miami he'll become the youngest men's champion in the 37 year Miami Open history and the 3rd youngest champion in ATP Masters 1000 series history,
Chang 18 years 5 months at Toronto 1990
Nadal 17 years 10 months Monte Carlo 2005

Spaniards are 0-8 in Miami Open men's finals......maybe Alcaraz can be the first Spaniard to win in Miami.

Note.Ferrero confirmed Carlos schedule until RG.MC Barcelona,Madrid,Rome.Goal should be a Top 8 seed for RG.

John Carlos was robbed when Roddick won at the Open.Roddick win was not a honest win at all.

That was a straight sets win. How was it controversial? I surely don't remember.

It's not really fair to put it on the rest of us to go back and watch it again. You must have a better case than "a lot of" bad calls. It would take a hell of a lot of bad calls for a guy to lose in straight sets and for you to say he was robbed. That seems like a stretch, to me.

The Kid starting slowly. Already down 0-3. Let's see if he rights the ship in this set like he did against Tits.

My wish is divided, in one way I'd like Ruud winning this Tournament because he is training in the Nadal's Academy so it would give it more prestige, on the other hand I'd like Carlos winning because he seems to be Rafa's successor and he is from Spain too :thinking-face:

I think Carlos has to think more when using his drop shots at times,he kinds of telegraphs them, opponents get used to them, drop shots should be 'the element of surprise at times'.

Ruud 1st serve deserted him in his service game and he paid the price

Figured it was too early to worry about that break.

For his height, Casper Ruud can hit big serves both on his 1st and 2nd serves. I am hoping Sinner is watching Ruud on how you can hit big serves...

I will say this: Ruud has hit some BIG and gutsy 2nd serves in this match so far.

First step in trying to beat Carlos is to get him 'off balance from the baseline' good luck
