Reason for Sinner's retirement 'blisters on foot' I saw him limp off court, did not understand why.

Aside from the players, this is a drag for the people who had tickets to the day session today.

Yesterday at night the Stadium where Alcaraz and Tsitsipas were playing was full but in general I don't remember to see the Stadiums so empty

Sasha won the 2nd set 6-1 though our friend Casper has just consolidated his break early in the 3rd set and leads 3-0
Casper had a MTO for a foot problem but seems to be moving okay

Great win for Casper Ruud! He should be the favorite on Friday to reach his 1st M1000 final ever on a HC too.
With the Rude German out does that change Rafa's ranking at all, I know he surpassed Rafa's position with his win the other day

I had posted he had very few big wins against top players, now on a HC besting the #3 player in the world Zverev, has to give him a new confidence.

The two "crown princes" Zverev and Tsitsipas, I dunno, the final coronation may elude them. ; )

Andy Roddick made a good point on how the change from the dry heat in Indian Wells to the humidity in Miami makes it hard for the players body. It is why what Alcaraz and Swiatek are doing right now is amazing considering their age.

The Rude German had won their 2 previous matches on HC.Casper Ruud stood up to him and showed there's more than a clay court player and prevailed
The Rude German's 2022 season continues to be a 'flop'....onto the clay season for him

They had both better stop expecting it and start working for it.
