Sock won in straight sets. There seems to be a different level of maturity in this young man, after he came back from the surgery layoff.
I also heard that his brother was facing some life threatening illness, and Jack was dedicating his win to his brother at IW.
It is clear that when you face suddenly adversities in your young life, the process of maturity will be expedited and you will skip some phases in the process.
Not to speak about his success in doubles surely plays a big role also as a confidence builder.
I just hope USA media will not jump on his back with the hype machine.
