Klizan's got a lot of flashy shotmaking, just needs more consistency. Novak is going to run away with this I think.

22 minutes for the bagel... promptly loses his service game in the next set, then breaks Klizan to even things up 1-1. Lol.

I enjoy Klizan. He beat Rafa last year, so he's not afraid of playing the top dogs. He's got a big game and I like when he starts playing more consistently at a high level. He's making Novak work for it.

Klizan is sponsored by Sergio Tacchini... even bigger motivation for Novak to beat this guy.

Novak went back to playing the way he did in the first set. Klizan didn't have the wherewithal to keep up with it.

strange 2nd set for djokovic..gave his opponent some faint frond of hope.

He definitely stepped off the gas pedal, but credit to Klizan as he upped his game, went for his shots and put Nole on his heels. :clap

Sock won in straight sets. There seems to be a different level of maturity in this young man, after he came back from the surgery layoff.
I also heard that his brother was facing some life threatening illness, and Jack was dedicating his win to his brother at IW.
It is clear that when you face suddenly adversities in your young life, the process of maturity will be expedited and you will skip some phases in the process.
Not to speak about his success in doubles surely plays a big role also as a confidence builder.
I just hope USA media will not jump on his back with the hype machine.
Too late for that. They're already touting him as the next big thing. Between IW and this week, TTC actually showed more of his matches than they showed of Isner's. :popcorn
