Nothing wrong with flipping burgers, I did it when I was 16 years old at Burger King and 17 years old at McDonald's.19 years old I was working at AT&T as a computer software programmer. Again..my point is you are not that busy and probably spend more time in the gym showers with the boys talking shit about Rafa then actually working out.

And the idiocy continues. How the hell are you supposed to know I'm not that busy? I shower at home actually and lift seriously and go home. I'll leave the kiddie fiddling to you, thanks.

Ha, I am not sure anymore if this thread is about Kyrgios. I actually watched the match with Khachanov and I didn't like it at all. I think that he should be banned from tennis if he continues with similar behaviour.

I was complaining about the same thing...that the thread had lost its point. Some people agree with you that he's on the verge of being banned. I'm still on the fence, but it is beyond me how some people are still justifying his behavior.

I think Nick might be gay and struggling with it so he’s taking his frustration out on everybody and trying to act all macho! But soon he will learn to accept and love himself, and become a pioneer in tennis. We’re all rooting for you Nick! :smooch: :rose:

It would also explain why he’s always upset with sex symbol Nadal! It’s because the attraction is too strong and it makes him uncomfortable...

I think that was the whole point of that huge fine. They're telling him 'get it sorted out now, or we will actually ditch you.'

People who try to justify his behavior don't really bother me that much. They're usually relatively harmless and sometimes mentally disabled demagogues. I'm more annoyed by idiots who claim that Kyrgios is a great tennis advertisement. I have read a couple of guys say that he is the greatest tennis gift after Federer and Nadal and that the tour actually needs him.

It bothers me not only because I think it's a flawed demagogy stemming from positive bias towards cheap controversy, or because it requires severely underestimating the tennis (non-WWF) crowd's IQ.

I find it idiotic simply because it's objectively wrong. All you have to do is conduct your own Google Trends research to find out how valuable Nick Kyrgios really is to the world of tennis.

This is the naked truth.

Compared with Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, Nick is irrelevant.

I will say this, not justifying all his behavior, but there has been a lot of racist (direct or veiled ) crap thrown his way.

If throwing a tantrum to distract the opponent sounds like a conspiracy theory to you, you're a simpleton. And for all I know, that's exactly what you are.
throwing a tantrum cant be proven with anything solid, a 7 year old player might do the same and probably doesn't think that way at all. Either way, there is nothing you can prove about a particular players' motive for throwing a tantrum thus making conclusion as if you somehow are certain of makes you nothing, nothing but an idiot trying to looking intelligent. btw pussy, stick to what you know and don't tell us what players actually think.

This post is not about on-court coaching. You've chided me about staying in my lane so why don't you stay in yours. You were trying to get a response out of Broken and I'm trying to get one out of Front. I don't think you get to tell me what posts I get to respond to, and I'm not trying to tell you which ones you do. However, try replying to an appropriate post.
now you know he couldn't justify what he claimed...…. that Becker said every player does that, not true. Again it's not in the link he showed, so I am asking for some evidence.

wow you set the bar high, compared to the big 3 nobody else is nothing much anyway. In case you don't know, Nick actually has a good sized fan base. For you to be talking like you are someone, sorry to tell you but you are a wheelchair potato with no fan. He gets millions to do whatever he wants, and you pay for internet so you can trash talk someone untouchable to you......see the difference? :D

now you are talking the high road, conveniently forgetting that Novak had the oxygen egg (which is now banned), smuggling his brother into a tournament he didn't qualify for, on court coaching (banned), bouncing the ball a mil times (time violation), selective standard much?

While throwing a tantrum may be offensive to some, it's clearly not comparable to misconduct with clear intent to cheat. Novak fans (when it comes to cheap cherry picking) you have done it again!!!

"Temper tantrum?" That usually implies short duration. This was two sets of Nick hectoring the umpire and worse. I don't really see how you justify playing that down. Whether or not he should be banned is a separate question.

PS: I cannot find anything that says the hyperbaric chamber (oxygen egg) is now banned in tennis. Can you provide something?

With a good umpire like Layhani, Bernardes or Nouni I guarantee you Kyrgios would not be like this.

It wasn't me, but Sam Groth.

You suffer from acute reading disability. And once again, you switch the topic from Kyrgios towards posters, which will inevitably lead to posters pointing out that you're dumb.

You have no way to guarantee me of this.

Well, obviously we cannot guarantee how Kyrgios would behave, but we can be very certain that Bernardes for example would not let him do the whole show. Since I think Kyrgios is smart before anything else, I am with @Front242 in believing that he would have behaved differently.

But this is where I don't see the point Front is making, and you are concurring with, unless it is to blame the umpire, which is where Front started. If so, then, in what sense? Nick has been fined for his misbehavior towards an umpire before, so I'm not sure on what grounds either of you base the notion that he has more respect for some than others, when he hasn't demonstrated especial respect for any. Actually, Lahyani got in trouble for counseling Nick who was verging on tanking or putting out too little effort, so you can strike Lahyani from that list...he was in the chair, and Kyrgios was misbehaving. I don't get blaming the chair umpire, to be honest.

I was specifically agreeing that the outcome would be different with a different umpire.

Which I still say is blaming a bit of it on the umpire. How could it not be? You're saying either that one is a pushover, or another is stricter, or I'm not clear.... To me, the common denominator in these many incidents is Nick Kyrgios. But to be accurate, what Front said and you agreed with was that Nick wouldn't have behaved that way with Bernardes, and Front mentioned a few others. That's not quite the same as saying "the outcome would be different would a different umpire," which is a milder, more philosophical version. Front's approach was that Murphy deserved what he got from Nick. What's yours?
