Hanescu's playing great. He has days like this. Novak not so much.

Carillo and Courier have spent the last 10 minutes describing their thoughts regarding the Becker/Djokovic pairing. It seems everyone considers it to be the odd couple.

After watching Verdasco struggling to defeat Zebby today, I do not have the nerve to watch a Nole unable to top Hanescu. This is way too depressing.

^ I didn't. But I'm not completely surprised by how calm and able Hanescu is. He is one of the quietest danger guys out there, though mostly on clay, I think. Still, stunned that he's holding so tough here. No Bps for Djoker?

Just like Nadal last night, Djokovic is struggling to find his rhythm.

Nole ups his level in the tiebreak and Hanescu gets a little tight.

(on a side note, Hanescu's hair is actually blacker than Nole's - Yikes)

But not unfindable.

It upsets my stomach.

Take heart, we bit our nails last night and Rafa still won. As it stands, looks like Nole's going to take the first in the TB. If he does, I'd turn off the gas in the oven. ;)

Djokovic has flicked the intensity to ON since the middle of this tiebreak. It's been off for probably 2 years.

Disappointing TB for Hanescu after he played so well all set but there you go.

Be amazed if this isn't a blowout 6-2 set now for Novak.

Always amuses me how utterly bored Carlos Bernados sounds. Like he hates his job so much lol. His tone is totally zzzzzzz. I'm so sick of this $h1t.

Yup :(

Oh, how quickly we forget last fall. Anyway, this is the switch v. Hanescu in round 2. He's been at a much higher gear even in tournaments that he's lost in the last 2 years. And he has won a Major in the last 2 years. Let's not undersell him completely, please.

I love Bernardes and his tone. He's not bored, he's calm, IMO. And he's a top ump.

He played well obviously but that intensity was still not there. Most crazy intensity I can recall from him was the US Open 2011 final before set 4 obviously when he hurt his back and started serving cream puffs.

^How would they not? During the Fed match yesterday they were talking Edberg even over the points.

He sounds like Al Bundy to me :D Good umpire alright though.
