After watching Verdasco struggling to defeat Zebby today, I do not have the nerve to watch a Nole unable to top Hanescu. This is way too depressing.

Oh, how quickly we forget last fall. Anyway, this is the switch v. Hanescu in round 2. He's been at a much higher gear even in tournaments that he's lost in the last 2 years. And he has won a Major in the last 2 years. Let's not undersell him completely, please.

He played well obviously but that intensity was still not there. Most crazy intensity I can recall from him was the US Open 2011 final before set 4 obviously when he hurt his back and started serving cream puffs.
