Benneteau v Tsonga is about the best match I reckon.

Dimitrov is playing this evening. He's worth watching, just to see where he is after last week.

The young Austrian qualifier Dominic Thiem is playing Simon.

I suppose so. Haase can be entertaining when he's playing well but no idea how his current form is. Never watched Thiem play but Simon bores me to tears so couldn't bring myself to watch that personally.

Berd drops the 2nd set and then dumps serve in the decider. RBA up a break 4-3 and will serve next.
Kukush melts Popsicle 6-0 6-2.

I like Davydenko but couldn't bring myself to watch that. Bring on tomorrow's matches. Nothing but tripe today.

Serious question: Does anyone here enjoy watching Isner?

T, you can hear a pin drop. I think you have your answer.

Exactly what I mean. I like watching Davydenko as his ball striking is incredibly clean and calculated but when he's playing Isner, forget it. Likewise I like Kohlschreiber but against Lu, zzzzzz. No thanks. Cilic is nice to watch but against a 32 year old clay courter? Gulbis is always entertaining with his aggressive play but against another clay courter like Lorenzi I really couldn't be bothered. Yesterday had some great matches and hopefully tomorrow will too but today, no. Hanescu - Djokovic I'd nearly watch as Hanescu can be good to watch at times but I don't think I'll be up till 3am again tonight and it only starts then local time here.

Bring on tomorrow.

Ha! I hadn't thought of that, but you're right.

Exactly. I enjoy Davydenko, too (especially when he's giving Rafa fits), but against Isner ... zzzzz :sleepy:

If I have to watch him because he's playing Rafa/Roger, then I will -- but that's it.

^ Likewise. I'd watch Isner against Federer, Nadal, Djokovic or Murray but I'd probably skip the torture against anyone else, whether or not I like them. Imagine running home from work to watch an Isner match?!

I remember being at work and going to the gym and when I got home he was still playing Mahut!

The kid continues his roll: Thiem takes out Gilles 7-6(5) 6-2. Served out the match like a champ.
This Sousa is some delectable eye candy Mox. But he's in a heap of trouble w/ Ernie 6-3 2-2

I heard that Del Potro has retired from the tournament after playing doubles yesterday. I am really disappointed because I was expecting him to go far in this tournament. I fear he could retire from the sport soon.

You're right -- he has been replaced by lucky loser James Ward.

And Lopez just beat him, but in a tough match 3-setter. Good effort by Ward. I don't think we have to fear that Del Potro will retire soon, but he's got to take this wrist injury seriously. Did he learn nothing from the last one? And what's with the doctor encouraging him play?! I'd find a new doctor.
