Have only watched a bit of FAA v. Nishioka. Is FAA feeling the pressure, or is it a bad match-up, or what?

Something to consider re: Tsitsipas looking poor vs. FAA: Before IW, he had played 20 matches in 2019 and 81 over the last 52 weeks - both marks the most on the ATP tour. He seems to be taking the route of Dominic Thiem. Hopefully he can get some rest before Miami.

I'm seeing FAA's youth here - just tuned in. Lots of errors. Just went down a double break in the third.

Holy crap. He just got both breaks back and now serving at 4-5. Some incredible tennis.

He has been astonishing to get back into this set/match.

The hugeness of his game was on display, as was his youth. Once he smooths things out a bit he's going to be an absolute terror.

TB. You have to favor Felix, though, oops...that was a bad start.

Kecmanovic is another player who might be breaking through. He first came to my attention when he lost the 2016 junior US Open to Prince Felix, and then finished the year as the #1 ranked junior player. But success on the junior tour doesn't always translate, but he seems to be doing fairly well.

Yes nadal have 5 titles at this event, 3 in singles, 2 in doubles, I never said nadal has 5 singles titles I said 5 overall which means both singles and doubles stop miss reading that I say. areadly known nadal has 3 singles titles, that I did not know is he's 51 wins at the event that do you think we keep track of every single win nadal has at every event No way man. Thats not basic thats super memory which I dont have.

If you have said 5 overall, I would give you a pass. But, you did not. See your original message which was quoted by me.
You have now edited the message so that things are clear. Glad that you did it though.

Wow...Nishioka gets it done, but that was some great tennis and heart from both there. They are both NextGen, and it was a very mature match, I thought.

Ugh - disappointing. Classic example of defense beating offense. Nishioka is a good player, but he won by attrition.

Match of the tournament. Congrats to Nishikori. As for FAA, that’s gotta hurt.

Roller coaster. 1-5 down in the third and looking totally out of it, Felix made an amazing comeback. At the TB, after losing that first point that he dominated, he still maintained composure and at the end when it was on his racket, could not pull it off...
This one is going to hurt him but there will be many more like this. I hope he hates this loss more than he likes his wins.

You knew exactly what @Nadal goat2 meant originally, but decided to misinterpret it on purpose. No one here thinks Rafa has five IW singles titles.

I would not say he won by attrition. I think in those moments Felix was too eager with some of those shots. He will learn from this match and he will be more calmer the next time these moments comes around.
