Pospisil deserved that win. I don't know if Andy is having trouble with the #1 or shingles, but he's going to need to do a better job of having a draw where he shouldn't have had to do more before the final than file his fingernails. @MargaretMcAleer : Andy has made the final before.

Fourth time in the last seven years that Murray has lost in his first or second rd match at IW.Agree Pospisil deserved his win, kept to his game plan and played good offensive tennis.

Wow, tennis is a many times a box of surprises :eyepop

It shows if you get fit from a bad back, get a world class pro coach like Woody and Sir Andy's least favorite masters series..anything can happen..too bad for Sir Andy..I like watching him play..wide open for the American Sam Quarry but DY jr may give him a battle

Lovely day at IW today, two of the top 8 sent home, which is great.
This sport needs a shake up rather badly.

I disagree..the sport needs to be viewable for TV..it needs the big 4 cause otherwise We all will watch NCAA basketball

They will be replaced sooner or later. And the sooner, the better, this sport is like frozen in time.

Who benefits the most? Is there any chance for a nextgen or older nextgen to be in the finals now?

I would hope so with the bottom of the draw loaded! It's wide open up top with Stan, Kei, Zverev, & Thiem!

Alright Goffin has better chances of reaching the semis now. Given that Wawrinka is laid back in masters and all, Goffin might as well reach the final. Roger's task is a tad easier now.
