I'm sure Roger is planning to fly to Oz, quarantine for 14 days, and standby to be the only active player EVER to present a Major trophy to another active player, just in case it happens.

Unfortunately Roger has to cancel his ticket now.

Let us hope they play each other in RG so neither has to present the trophy to the other.

Because that’s what a good humble generous person would do.

It isn't a requirement and shouldn't be held over Roger's head. By the way, even if Nadal "surpasses" Roger's major count a lot of people will still point to Federer as the superior player due to his title spread and wealth of achievements outside slams.

Novak has a better chance at overtaking Roger than Rafa at 21 majors.

I heard the opposite he will play clay this year.....regarding the Olympics I really can't see that going ahead with the pandemic and trying to manage all those athletes,Japan has already had a second wave of the pandemic.

So they're going to ignore all rules, precedent, and protocal to allow Roger to play the Olympics? He hasn't picked up a racket to play a pro match in over a year! Makes sense to me; NOT!

I thought it was a collosal joke when they proposed it! It was bad enough with the pro basketball, baseball, & hockey players, but tennis millionaires? They just can't leave anything for the also-rans out there; even a gold medal! The self-entitlement of it all really PO'd me almost 30 years ago! At least when Edberg won it as an exhibition sport in '84 he was the about the right age and experience to deserve it after winning the Junior GS in '83!

Federer is not playing in Stuttgart this year. He will be playing in Halle and then in Wimbledon.

Unfortunately, he won't even be a top four seed even in Halle as Tits has just now taken a WC there. Med, Tits, Sasha and Rublev will be the top four seeds.

Fed has started practicing in Halle already. He is hitting with glassikori.
