Dubai will tell a lot about Roger's form. Dubai is a fast court and is to his liking. If he can't win Dubai (potentially beating Nole in the finals), I can't see him winning any Masters tourneys.
Huh, are you serious? Or do u wish to be wearing handsome jeans on TV and making $300M? Because this video is an ad by UNIQLO about Fed modelling their jeans, and not about Fed musical skills. If you pay attention Fed does not play what they play but just touches a C major cord with his left hand (what they told him to do), so his playing is just a BS background of the story. Further, if you remember how Fed was singing in the Left Handed Back Enders band, you know his musical skills are below average.Well, that is nice. I am glad he has some other talents and I wish I could learn it at my age

Agree, Fed is superior.I am sure Federer plays the piano way better than Nadal. Oh, it is not even close.

This the ad about Rafa's musical skills:
Not just "not even close", but an abomination of an adult man... Oh boy, I hope Nad, when retired, goes fishing on a yacht and not a motor boat, otherwise people around him will suggest he steers straight into an expensive mental hospital somewhere on Mallorca shores. How a supposedly intelligent man could agree for such an ad is beyond me.
I stand corrected. If this piece (first 8 bars of Bach Prelude No.1) was recorded by Fed himself, then his piano skills are better than his vocal skills that I've seen before.See? Exactly what I was referring to. Rumors say that the original idea for this commercial was his rendition of "singing in the rain". That was his best attempt at that, while the audio we hear on the Federer commercial was recorded by himself playing with just one hand. Who is the goat now?
So
Dubai
IW
Miami
2 out of 3 clay masters
(Monte Carlo
Madrid
Rome)
RG
Depends on how deep he goes in each tourney but this is the tentative schedule
A little bit too much to my liking. Unless he adjusts it depending on how deeply he goes in each tourney. If he looses in first of Miami as he did last year and also loses in both clay masters in first, then it will be OK. So that's the maximum he wishes to play. Otherwise we should skip some.
If he goes deep in RG then he must skip at least Stuttgart otherwise he will be too tired for Wimby which should be his top pri.

Said fragment is a very simple piece in C major (2 cords & 4 similar melodic lines), everyone with good sense of rhythm and a bit of practice can play it. Still it sounds not bad for an amateur recording (certainly I would not have played it better), well done Fed.
No, you misread. Only thing Roger said is that one or two clay tournaments (not necessarily masters).
If somebody gives him a million bucks, I am sure one of the two clay tourneys will be a smaller one.
Mandatory ATP 1000s are prohibited from offering appearance fees to players. However, Monte Carlo is allowed
to offer as it is not mandatory even though it is ATP 1000. But, in practice, Monte Carlo does not offer appearance
fee, as they have no trouble attracting top players despite being non-mandatory tourney.
