It's that, however much Darth drives me crazy, I trust that he knows about things Roger. You, in my experience, can be gullible to things just because you read them on the internet. But I'll let him try to prove it to you. I'm out on this one.

You totally were looking at things from rose colored glasses even after people posted a link to an article about Rafa banning the referee. Do you want me to dig out that thread which will make that crystal clear to everyone.

I have no idea what you're talking about now. Let Darth tell you what Roger said.

It was right after Fed beat Fritz, Jon Wertheim talked to Roger about Tsitsipas and said something like "you guys practiced with each other so you're probably familiar with one another's games." And Roger said they actually hadn't practiced together but were both in Dubai at the same time practicing with others.

I watched Fed's on court interview after third round and also the presser after the 3rd round (just now). No question about Dubai came up. You are talking about some other interview as Jon Werthiem was not part of these interviews as far as I could tell. Perhaps, you could post a link or transcript of that interview.

I looked for it online yesterday, couldn't find it. I saw the interview, it's not like it's something of importance I'd make up.

Moxie, of course you don’t have an idea of what GameSetandMath is talking about because he himself doesn’t even know what he is talking about just like most Fedfans. :cuckoo:

You did well to end the conversation. :good:

I am not saying you made it up. Perhaps you misinterpreted Fed's answer. Perhaps, Fed was trying to downplay hitting with Perseus.

OK. I found that video. Yes, Federer denies practicing with Perseus in Dubai. So, obviously one of them is lying.

Bottom line is this man has to stop sucking and get back to respectable tennis. It may be too late to hold off that ratfucker but go down swinging

Is there an English translation?

No,but here's the google translation,

From sports clip from 23.01.2019.

"It's difficult to judge how disappointed he is," said Severin Lüthi, referring to the state of mind of Federer. 3 days have passed since the defeat against Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Lüthi and Federer analyzed the surprising outcome on Sunday evening against the 20-year-old climber on Monday, before the 20-time Grand Slam champion left Australia. "There were different reasons for the defeat, of course," he explains.

0 out of 12 breakballs is certainly not normal.
Author:Severin Lüthi
«Tsitsipas played very well. He was cheeky, has a slightly different style than most. "But it was also clear that Federer could have done a lot better. "Eventually use a breakball, for example. 0 out of 12 is certainly not normal. But it never really clicked this time. "

Lüthi noticed something: "From the outside one has had the feeling that Tsitsipas has nothing to lose. Roger has played a little more controlled in comparison. "Of course, he could no longer play like a 21-year-old. "But you have to try to get some of the boy back."

But it is a good sign when the disappointment is there. "Otherwise you will no longer have the fire and should stop soon." However, one of Federer's strengths is: "He can cut very quickly and look ahead."

If you knew he would stop at the end of the year, you could train differently.
Author:Severin Lüthi
This is usually not a problem with Federer. Lüthi is aware that this will not continue for years to come. But he did not know when he would resign.

"If you knew he would stop at the end of the year, you could train differently. Less in the medium and long term. »This was discussed in particular with fitness coach Pierre Paganini. "And right now Roger is still training and planning for the medium and long term."

Fingers crossed Nadal falls at the final to Djokovic and can’t play the FO too. Fed needs to win Wimbledon this year

Consider the last three players Roger lost to at Slams:

Stefanos Tsitsipas: 20-years old, #15 in the world.
John Millman: ranked #55, for Chrissakes.
Kevin Anderson: ranked #8, and on Roger's best surface.

Anderson was hot, Tsitsipas is rising and very talented, but really...these aren't exactly elite players. It isn't ljike he lost to Rafa, Novak, or even Soderling/Tsonga/Berdych types.

Very true. He's visibly slow and is getting nervous on important points.

He's preparing us for his retirement.

To be honest, I'm kind of ready. I love Roger but I'm kind of sick of him.

Haha, take that fellow Fedtards.

(I'm sick of the Big Four as a group...looking forward to new blood taking over).

Well, that is nice. I am glad he has some other talents and I wish I could learn it at my age. But, just so all of you know, I live in South Florida and the Miami Open released the list of players who have said yes to playing, and it includes Roger, along with the other top 79 players on the ATP Tour! As for the WTA, the top 45 ladies have all committed so it is to be an event not to miss. Playing for the first time in the new Hard Rock stadium and it is an expansive and first rate place. It will have the largest outdoor hi-def television screen outside the stadium. I figure the owners of the event want everyone there and Larry Ellison will likely send someone to obtain the measurements of the screen so 2020 Indian Wells can have a slightly bigger one. LOL
