Started quite well then she slumped in first set but after surviving 2nd game in 2nd set it's Carolines match where she showed some of the things she has improved. Must be a big log for Carolines confidence to win this match. Lisicki looked clueless in 3rd set. Not the old Carline when she was best but not so far from catching up. Maybe Michael Mortensen last a bit longer by this Time for a Carlsberg.

She came to the net more if I am not wrong and looked more aggressive. I felt more urgency from her but its hard to tell how much she improved. Beck just beat stosur and will be an easier match for Caro than stosur.

Lisicki continues to confound me. When she is losing or things are not looking well for her, she has no idea of what to do on the court. She stops going for shots, the serving falls off, etc. She has so many weapons, yet does not seem able to fulfill her potential.

Her game is very physical and she runs ALOT during her matches. Hopefully the achilles injury is minor. I do agree, she needs to monitor her schedule very carefully and not wear her body down.
