Absolutely it's a very tough time for kids and unfortunately (and I'm a realistic not a pessimist) it's just going to get harder for them as we'll have fear ramped up now over climate change and who knows what else. Working from home is definitely the best thing to happen due to this crap hands down. A few companies are adopting a permanent work from home option but many are doing hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 at home. I'd love to be able to work from home forever more and even abroad if my company allowed it but they don't allow either sadly. Agree about meetings with webcams. Annoying having to make ourselves presentable but it still beats lost time spent commuting and being stuck in an office full of muppets.
An office full of muppets :lulz1: :lulz1:

Always lurking here... I got them out of convenience starting in March, but it bothers me that they might push for multiple additional boosters later this year. Especially with nefarious companies like Pfizer (all those $ fraud settlements) and how doctors continue to prescribe their depression pills with black box warnings long-term to all ages when they're only meant to be short-term

Well, this is very true, and of course we have to ask questions of the big pharma and their goals in this. 6 months ago the vaccine might last a lifetime, no need for boosters, and now of course that segued easily into an even greater cash cow for Pfizer, now with many countries either dabbling with or already enacting vaccine mandates, and yet nobody is demanding of Pfizer and the others when they actually will produce a vaccine that does what they’d originally promised.

Meanwhile, the WHO have said that the vaccine isn’t useful enough against omicron to be worth it, as yet confusingly, the vaccine booster machine is still in full swing. Something doesn’t add up in all this…

Israel, the country the world is following in terms of booster rollouts just had their highest number of positive cases ever today. Proof these vaccines and boosters are largely useless against Omicron, especially when it comes to transmission. Hardly any deaths not because of the vaccines, but because Omicron is so weak.

This shows just how weak Omicron is and why the mass vaccination hysteria needs to stop. Had a cold recently ? You may not catch covid so and yet they tell you "but vaccination remains the best protection". To date there's NEVER been any vaccine that prevented the common cold but yet catch a cold and you may not get covid. That's how weak it's become now.

Novavax will probably be in the US by May. I’m getting that one, a protein subunit vaccine with none of the unknown side effects of the other three vaccines.

If you're job won't go fully remote, it's time for a new employer. Surely you can get hired at a new place that would be 100% remote and afford you even more time with your family.

This one just kills me. It's a branded ad, though I challenge you to know what the brand is about. This is one of the parts of this pandemic that breaks my heart.

Tbh I hate doing interviews and I'll likely just stay where I am at this stage but I guess a lot depends on the stupidity of the country I live in. If they try and mandate these vaccines now that it's basically a common cold, I'm leaving the country. Our useless leader says they won't and instead of mandatory there's already been a few shocking articles and it's clear they prefer coercion over mandating.

https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-40782006.html

“I was listening to one prime minister talking about fines of €600 every three months – that’s what a mandatory regime looks like.

^ You just can't do that over a common cold that vaxxed people are still getting and in larger numbers going by the stats out there too. It's insane.

Check out the below from this authoritarian woke scum pos. A simple Google about the guy who wrote this garbage says it all.

https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/mandatory-vaccination-not-the-same-as-compulsory-1.4774909

His points make no sense at all since the vaccines don't stop transmission for Omicron and didn't do a great deal for Delta either and he says this nonsense "To refuse a vaccine may be a right, but it is also a very selfish act, since a person aims to benefit from the actions of others without contributing towards the common good."

I'm not hoping to "benefit" from others taking it at all since it doesn't stop transmission and I'm not scared one bit of the virus. No one is even really benefiting from it at all seeing as it's mostly vaxxed and boosted people I know catching this and very few are now dying from Omicron. Most deaths are still from lingering Delta cases in hospital. This would only make sense if (A) the vaccines stopped transmission, (B) the virus was actually no longer a common cold, (C) it wasn't connected to a massive list of adverse effects, (D) had been properly tested with long term health studies and (E) wasn't ruining people's immune systems, which it is according to the 2 posts I listed previously and placed below again. Guy is an absolute clown but the worrying thing is when the media post rubbish like this, they're often getting the public ready for what's to come in the future.

I cried watching that. Can you provide any info on the commercial? All the comments are in German.

All I know is that it's produced by a grocery store. I'm sure the idea is to put something heartfelt about the pandemic out there. Grocery stores are "family" kinds of places, so it's sort of an image piece for them. It's really beautiful.

Natural immunity is all you need. T cells from a common cold will do for Omicron.

Given that we've all had the common cold, how does that really hold up?

If you prefer to keep taking endless boosters that's your choice I guess but they're gonna destroy people's immune systems in time. I decided to take one last antigen test today just for the sake of it and ended up testing positive as did our 5.5 year who'll have to stay home from school another week now which sucks 'cos he misses his school. Absolutely nothing at all wrong with us. I did 200 press ups and full of energy. Everyone's immune system is different but I'm reading more and more comments from vaxxed and boosted people who felt quite bad during Omicron and honestly I wouldn't even know there was a single thing wrong with me. Quite possible it's already damaging immune systems or maybe a massive amount of the public are just deficient in vitamin d and other vitamins/minerals whereas I'm pumped full of stuff so I barely notice anything. It could also be both. Can only conclude that my wife who now tested negative yesterday and today was more contagious just before she recovered and we caught it then as this is the way also with other illnesses. I'm happy to have it actually to see how long natural immunity lasts. If Omicron stays the dominant variant and this becomes endemic then most people will just get it again in winter.

I'll lick a door handle for 20 minutes at the local supermarket around September to ensure I have a recovery cert before flying anywhere later in the year. There's no vaccine ever made the stops that common cold but presumably if you had a recent cold even if you end up catching Omicron it'll help even more by reducing the already mild asf symptoms further. This came sooner than expected and was part of the reason I knew vaccination would not be necessary for the majority once it weakened to this extent as it's followed the standard pattern of becoming more transmissible and way less virulent. I thought this might still be a year or two away. The world owes South Africa if things stay now as they are and to think they told the world Omicron was very mild from day one and yet governments, mainstream media and the pharma companies still try and scare the crap of out everyone to push the vaccines. Game over for many and time to end medical apartheid and ditch those discriminating covid certs. I can apply for a recovery cert now but I won't be going to any pubs and using one. I refuse to show papers or a QR code (the mark of the beast) to enter a building that should be simply a case of walking into. If someone asks me to go for a drink, I'll wait till summer or drink outdoors out of principle as those who accept this bs have ruined society.

Grocery store?? I would have never guessed. I enjoy watching well-made commercials.

I felt the same way about interviewing and I'm older. Hated it. When you've been at the same job for awhile, we become creatures of habit. In 2020 when I relocated I had no choice. I had to get back out there and it really is a good thing. The job I have now is better than the one I had before in every single aspect except Jewish Holidays (LOL) . My point is you won't know what's out there until you look.
