Very sadly ironic.

Ironic, indeed. My doctor friends in Florida and cousin who’s a nurse have told me about countless anti-vaccine patients who have begged for it upon realizing how sick they were, only to discover it was too late.

I hope that is so. The rhetoric here (on your more neutral media, anyway) seems to be chilling on Omicron hysteria, and the NYTimes Editorial board published an op-ed this weekend (which I won't link, as I know it's behind a pay wall for most here,) stating that it is time to get more sensible and sanguine about living with Covid. I don't agree with all of it, but one thing they said, which was my position above, is that free, frequent testing is a way to help stop the spread and allow people to get on more with normal life.

Whichever side one falls on the vaccine question, or Covid in general, I think we all agree that the politicizing of it has been nothing short of criminal in some ways. Call it a global health crisis or a global health issue, but it didn't need to be made "tribal," as it has been in the US. I think a lot more people would have made their own choices as to mask/no mask, vaccine/no vaccine, etc., if they didn't feel they needed to signal their political affiliation in those terms.

This is interesting: For all of the Novak watch on vaccine or no, Pierre Hugues Herbert has come out to say that he won't get the vaccine, as a personal choice, and he's going to play challengers in Europe rather than go to the AO. His doubles partner, Nico Mahut, is vaccinated and will go, so I guess he'll be looking for a partner. Not a small sacrifice on the part of Herbert, as he and Mahut are a top doubles team.

I read that Mahut has teamed up with Fabrice Matin.

As far as politicization goes, I can't tell you how many of these I've seen:

On the other hand, you know there'd be plenty of unvaxxed Trumptards who would be vaccinated if Trump was still president.

I'm not clear as to your point. A minor league baseball figure changed his opinion? As things changed?

I'm saying that he was against the vaccine when it was Trump's baby ("Operation Lightspeed") and for it later on, after Trump was gone. There are many instances of this among Democratic pundits. I don't think it is simply him "changing his mind" as much as buying partisan narratives.

Don't forget that even Fauci was warning Trump about pushing the vaccine too quickly. But pretty much as soon as Biden was voted in, the "vaccine" magically appeared and Fauci had full confidence.

Maybe so, but I don't remember any of that amongst my friends, colleagues. We wanted a vaccine, and credited Trump for pushing it through. But I see where you're going with this, and no foul. So many politicians or people with a platform, I guess, blew with the winds, not with what made sense. To my point of it being politicized, so understood. But think of how weirdly and quickly things swung. There was a vaccine, and Trump got credit for pushing it through. A lot of people wanted it, and took it. But Trump lost the election, and rather distanced himself from the vaccine. Weirdly.

Has anyone got more details as some people cannot take vaccine and have adverse reactions.

It's Ivermectin rebranded as Pfizer. The fact that so many "factcheckers" debunked means you know it's true. Selling dirt cheap already available medication that worked wonders in India at a massive mark up. WINNING. Pfizer are scum.

Actually it's you who are wrong again. I'm not making anything up. You might want to do some proper research before blindly praising the scum Pfizer, the world's most sued company. They have ripped off Ivermectin just as I said which costs 6 cents....and stand to make an absolute killing on their mark ups as they are dishonest, unscrupulous scum. Anyone with half a brain would source Ivermectin instead as it's worked wonders in India as I stated.

Lamestream media have of course been bad mouthing Ivermectin for a reason, BECAUSE IT WORKS and because it costs sfa. Never let a good crisis go to waste as they say and this is exactly what all the pharma companies and dishonest paid off government officials, politicians, media, etc are doing. The only way for the covid "vaccines" to get emergency approval was if there was no available treatment on the market. Queue massive global bad press against Ivermectin and hey presto, problem solved. These pharma companies and those being paid off are evil bastards. A LOT of lives could have been saved but money means more to them than saving lives. NOW though as they stand to make EVEN MORE money, suddenly Pfizer come up with this "new" drug which is Ivermectin ripped off. Pfizer's CEO and top management along with all those going along with this shaming of proven treatments that work only to promote their own products should get the gas chamber or guillotine.
