The Chinese Simona doesnt want to let go of the match. Enough already, give the original the match

3-3 broken, when she serves she gets so fragile mentally. What happened to my mighty player?
She cant hold the pressure. I wish her to be top 20 again, so she can relax and get her true form back.

Simona can beat anybody when she is not under the rankings pressure. Shame about that. :(

holds 4-4 but the brain stress limitations are so clear to see. :(
I really want Simona to go down the rankings so she can get back her tennis form and start beating the top players again. Life can be very ironic. "Less is more"... so they say in the swimming world.
She can not go on like that. Her brain is frozen.
Even if she wins today she wont get far in this mental state.

According to my maths, someone can correct me if I am wrong here.

Neither Simona or Petra can catch Serena,if she loses early in Beijing and YEC.The only person that can finish as No 1,other than Serena is Maria who has no points to defend, but she has to win Beijing and YEC,Serena has to lose early in both for that to happen.
If Serena wins Beijing, she will clinch year No 1 immediately.

I think you are wrong. Serena has 2000 points more then Petra. If Serena loses early in both then Petra can surpass her. She can have 1000 points for Beijing and 1500 points for YEC. Apart from that Petra is scheduled to play Moscow which is another 470 points. She can gain almost 3000 points. Even if you won't count her 100 points for Eastboune and 105 points for Montreal it's still 2765 points.

That's of course theory. Serena will not loose everything and Petra will not win everything.

The Chinese Simona is doing a clinic on the Romanian Simona 5-4

Simona,
You hate the pressure in your tennis in last months. You just suffer.
Just lose matches in purpose, :puzzled go down the rankings,
let the people expectations drop, and then come back and start beating everyone again.

Simo breaks 6-5 :) but it means nothing, she is easily broken these days. Not the tiger she was in 2013. :(
In her 2013 frame of mind, a break like this would have meant the end of the match with a win, not just the set.
Simon, find your lost mental toughness pleeeease.

Better yet, she can embrace the spotlight of being #2 and elevate her game. We all know she's capable.

We all know she's NOT capable. :( .... She tried that for the last 3 months....
I wish you were right and thanks for the good intentions. :)

Takes first set after a hard fight 7-5 :D
If only she could relax and "expend her horizon" a bit... she wont get far in this state. Ana or Gernie oe Petka will toast her.

What does the fell have to do with mental strength? You are just "neutral" so you have your perspective, enjoy it.
It doesnt bothers me much. I know what she is REALLY capable of, you dont really.
For you she is just another player, for me she is not just another player.
And... I will play that record again and again because thats the reality.

How can you have any mental strength in a match when you are obviously struggling with a thig injury..

Hmm I will redo my maths...your talking theory...regarding the no 1 spot for the year
I still maintain that if Serena wins Beijing she will clinch the no 1 position for the year.
I will get back to you,it is too late for me to re do maths at the moment

And now if Simo starts to win and gets a good run, "neutrals" will say that I just hoped on the bandwagon and I am "so inconsistent"... Go and tell them what they really are...
Neutrals are so predictable and they have no clue what they are missing when they "just watch".
They are hmm... "unfortunate" while feeling very fortunate :D

Oh thats simple:
When you lead 3-1 with a break BEFORE getting injured, you are not being broken again and you keep being what you were last year before the stress drove you nuts.
No need to do stats to get that.

^ I guess I am some kind of bandwagon inconsistent (I like this word ;) ) fan and there are more mature and intelligent fans than me....

IN THEIR DREAMS

Btw, some tennis fans will never get the sports educations and mental development that many "primitive" football (soccer) fans have.

^ Well now the match takes on a different perspective and Simona will have to deal with the unfortunate injury she has picked up in this match.

She is injured in the brain for months. Thats much more serious.
The thigh injury will go away in days, the brain injury wont.

I wish her FULL RECOVERY in BOTH because I  that girl. - nothing sexual, she isnt miss universe.
